Cheers Barn and everyone else .

The old boy lived in a granny flat out the back of our place so it was particularily hard to watch his decline on a daily basis , but i would also rate it the most rewarding thing i have ever done ...

A lot of us only know our parents as a mother or father figures but i got the chance over the last few years to know him as the real bloke he was .

I will always be proud that we managed to keep him out of a home .

Thanks IDDY and others, your thought are welcome, (particularly yours IDDY). She passed away in the arms of my father and sister and the I got to see her the day before with the wedding Kilt ofr the the end of this month. Anyway I'm back, the tigers won on the weekend to see mum off and did I say I'm back in the Feral Pit

My sincere condolences to you both. Having been there, I know a little about how it feels.

We love our footy, but it pales into insignificance at times like this.
