The kicking in danger free paid against D.King in the last quater would have to be the worst frees I've seen for some time. The only player near the ball was a roo's player and his hands weren't even near the ball?

Good point CHF. I noticed in the Bullies/Brisbane that Kennedy from Brisbane grabbed a feild umpire by the arm. What is the bet he will not be reported ?. In fact i know he will not be reported. The umpiring has been really poor this year. It is wrong that the AFL allow the umpires to apply the rules differently to teams and players.

That pretender Burns also grabbed the ump. And that will also go un noticed.

Why is it that the umpiring seems to be better in the VFL games than the seniors? Are the umpires actually better or is there less excitement so we just think they are? Maybe the senior game umpires are too busy thinking about what they look like on TV to actually worry about umpiring correctly and fairly (they certainly have trouble with the last point).

My recollection of the Watt incident in round one was that the umpire did not call a free kick until he started convulsing. Typical!!

I thought the umpiring form yesterday's game was pretty good. I mean, you have to expect a couple of mistakes during the course of a game - nobody's perfect - but I thought they did well yesterday to let the game go on as much as possible in the poor conditions.
If every dodgy handpass, or every fumble/dop of the ball in a tackle were pinged, the play would have been even more stop-start, and we would have been lucky to see any goals at all after quarter time!

What about the free Harvey got for jumping into some log's back in the first quarter in the goalsquare... I nearly peed myself with laughter...

Yeah, both incidents involved a player making contact with an umpire - therefore deemed reportable!

COME ON W.JACKO & CO...YOU'VE MADE AN EXAMPLE OF BOOMER HARVEY - BE CONSISTANT WITH THESE OTHER INCIDENTS YOU BUNCH OF TOSSERS!
