From the illustrious Biffa on the superb unofficial Newcastle United webzine, nufc.com:

Excerpt from his NUFC - MUFC match report:

Regular readers will by now be aware of our inability to join those who hail the
appearance of Kieron Dyer on the field as something akin to a biblical event.

And once again it's depressing to report on his minimal contribution to this
game, offering the opposition a first-hand confirmation that on this form he'd
struggle to command a place in the Old Trafford lineup.

Compared to the industry of Roy Keane, Dyer fluttered about hurting nobody with
his meandering runs and in that sense bore comparison with Robert.

100% spot on IMO and I'm sure a lot of yours as well. Flog him to the highest bidder and give his spot to Hugo Viana.

Quite true.

Dyer does bugger all for England, but particularly us... He's been the second coming for some time, and hasn't delivered. Not a bad idea to flog him off, but he'll probably turn out to be the gun he was supposed to become at another club.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to start placing more responsibility on the likes of Viana and Jenas, as they are pretty much the future of the midfield after the likes of Nobby Solano and Speed depart.

Why don't you have Real Madrid as your second team?

At least you will know that you will have something over the Man Yoo supporters in the CL every year.;)

*Bump*

Fresh from bottling his penalty against Partizan - along with a few other notables - Kieron's performance against Birmingham was more of the same...

He ran a bit... then he ran some more... then he sprinted... then he ran... then he gave away possession... then he ran..............

David Dunn gave a prime example of what Kieron should be doing - ie, creating havoc from midfield by challenging defenders with runs off the ball, dribbling at them and passing through them.

Hell, if all it takes to get a place in the heart of our midfield is to be infinitely over-rated and to run bloody fast without actually accomplishing anything we could've signed Matt Shirvington for a fraction of KD's cost.
