So far the only ACTUAL review I've seen has been from a playstation magazine and I too have heard from a playtester that he was able to clock the campaign in just under 4 hours.

Mustn't have looked around much, first GG came out and stated it was 10 hours(Really, what's the use of them lying?), I have seen several other small(And some bigger) reviews from people who have played the game that states 10 hours playing time at a minimum.

Maybe a speed run through the game would be around 4 hours, but every game would be that or under with a speed run, after all it is a SPEED run, which basically means, kill nobody, skip all cut-scenes, and don't have any fun.

You know, for someone who calls themself a "True gamer" you seem to dislike the games that actually represent the true game, God Of War is the epitome of a near perfect game, great varied and full gameplay, great action, plenty of gore, nudity, a fantastic Movie-like score, and great voice acting.

well if it does end up only taking 4 hours i'd be a little surprised and slightly disappointed as that is too short

my IDEAL game length for this would be 6-8

coz let's face it....the multiplayer will consume DAYS of gametime

to answer your questions, no to all. i didn't even actually ever play killzone 1....wasn't interested in fps at the time really.

deny it all you want but we all know that you know that killzone 2 is going to be awesome

Yes I did complete the campaign, it wasnt the greatest, but it was reasonable.

And yes I played the offline multiplayer, it was one of the best going around for the PS2. So much fun.

Yeah that was kickass. I remember spending hours making my own maps, that shit was pretty advanced for the time.

That reminds me I need to do a couple of Far Cry 2 levels.

I usually don't post reviews of games, IGN is really the only one I put up, and some of the reviews I have seen don't give scores, and one is in another language.

Not really, I think what people mistake my liking for cetain games for is just that, I love some games, I like some games and games I don't love/like I rarely talk about because they are pushed to the back of my thoughts and replaced by the better games that I like, I have already stated previously on this very forum that I disliked HAZE(Before it was even released), L4D and basically detest any RTS game there is, which includes titles like Halo Wars, C&C, etc.

And I haven't stated too much different other than trying to see the opinions of others, however when somebody calls themself a "True Gamer" I find it very hard to believe that a game which has fantastic gaming elements in it can be seen as sub-par, or at least anything but good/great.

After all Metacritic rates God Of War at a 94 and God Of War 2 at a 93, and they are reviewed usually by "true gamers" thus the reason they choose to go into game reviewing.

God of War is a good game, but I wouldn't even give it a 7 out of 10.

I mark harder than most people though I think. Its like any other art form, I don't rate every movie that entertains me as a 10.

God of War is ok. It's good at what it does, but it doesn't do much. It's like Ninja Gaiden, with less combos and less interesting weapons.

Sounds to me like your a part time gaming man instead, you have failed to play so many games this year, you are certainly nowhere near a "True Gamer".

You contradict yourself with how you look at games, if you consider games as an "art form" then you would see that God Of War is far more than a score of under 7, and that the 'ease' of the game has nothing to do with how good a game is(Unless you mean it is easy even on the toughest difficulty, then you might have a point), as there are more factors than just gameplay up for considerationwhen you look at games like God Of War 1 and 2.
