i'm playing it on my other account now coz i don't want any of the trophies to come up on my main account (well my mate is playing it...i'm watching)

we're playing it on his promo disc as he works in the head office of jb australia...that's how we have it.
i will keep this copy until i get my real copy and play on my main account

right now he's playing some multiplayer against bots...seriously it's flipping incredible (even though i havn't actually played/felt it myself yet...i told him to play it since i'll have it for so long)

and what i said about the graphics....it is still slightly better imo but what i was referring to before was the intro movie that plays as you start up the game...now THAT is incredible.

i havn't started the story yet and i'm not sure if i will until i get my real copy.

i already know which will be my gun of choice in MP....it is freakon ridiculously cool (and locked to us at this stage...but we've picked it up already)

I wonder if anyone actually takes any notice of the reviews in ps/xbox mags

I find the best thing to do is to read a few different mags

I buy Hyper each month

I read: Official 360, Official PS3, Australian 360 and Official Nintendo

I get a fair idea of what games are like by this (if i don't play them myself)

It would be unethical to sell it, getting free stuff early is a privilige of the job, plus it doesn't have the proper case, just came in a CD cover...

The proper disc would have better artwork on it though... why would you want it? This is just a red and white Sony CD that says Killzone 2 on it and has the terms and conditions.....

Honestly I don't see why people shouldn't take notice of them, sure they are the 'Official' PS/XBOX mags, but they aren't actually OWNED by Sony or Microsoft, in fact both magazines are owned by the same company, so really their publication is just as legit as any other when it comes to reviews(Give or take a point probably for Exclusive games though).

Both types of mags tend to show bias when reviewing games exclusive to their supported console. e.g. Killzone 2 in PS3 publications and Halo 2/3 in Xbox publications gaining perfect scores.

A perfect score should never be warranted with any game.

from what i've seen i think it looks slightly better

i've only played a little bit against bots on my other account in the multiplayer and that looks almost identical to the demo...and generally the multiplayer is slightly dulled down to the single player graphics so i'm really not sure

and to me the aiming felt slightly better on the disc version too....i don't know if that's because i had, had practise with the demo or what....it's still a lil annoying but it didn't seem to shoot way past them as much as i did in the demo...
not sure if they changed it slightly or if i just adjusted alot quicker on my smaller (32") tv
and that does make sense coz when i play cod4 on his big ass tv i always seem to perform worse than when i'm on my tv.

but yeh, i'm not going to play the single player until i get my real copy...
and i doubt i will play the offline multiplayer against bots too much either...maybe just every now and then to have a better feel for it.

my g/f is pretty much living with me for the next week and a bit so i won't have too much time to game anywayz...and i want to give it my full attention to it so it'll be pretty easy for me to wait
