the killzone2 patch fixed death lag and all connection issues for me

well that was fun while it lasted - all of about 2 days

sonys ps3 2.70 update bought back death lag for me

and now the disconnection issues are back as well

Do you remember the trailer which followed the bullet from the muzzle of the gun all the way through the battle field?

Well Guerilla Games have released the trailer on to the PSN (sources tell me it's about 190mb) and it's kind of like a tech demo.

There's multiple tracks of commentary and you can rotate the camera around the bullet whilst it's travelling through the air. By pressing across on your d-pad, you can change the filters (such as lighting and reflection).

It's all run from the KZ2 engine and it's not prerendered. The amount of polygons which make up the bullet is more than the amount of polygons that make up the gun model.

Yeah, they're calling it the 4D look at Killzone 2.

Just had a go of it then, while it is a tiny bit limited in what you can do with the camera, it is FRIGGEN AMAZING to look at, you can speed up the footage, slow it down, or even freeze it, looking around at everything is something you have to see to believe, you actually feel like your right there is some sort of freeze frame moment(A Matrix moment if you will).

If you have 190MB to download it, HIGHLY recommended(Get a US PSN account, takes 5 minutes to set-up), even if it is just for the one look.

Which he had done(And stated so), but it was apparently the 2.70 firmware update that has caused the reocurrance of the issues.

Anyway, I have to say I think it is something to do with his connection though, just one of those things that tends to happen to 1 out of every few hundred or thousand of people, somewhat like Scooterb and his COD:WaW issues.

- My PSN takes ages to sign in.
- Sometimes it won't even connect to Warzone.
- When I get into games, it disconnects in a matter of minutes.

My old router shat itself yesterday and I replaced it immediately. I gave the PS3 a static IP address, put it in the DMZ and upgraded the router firmware and it's still sucking.

I tried Resistance:FoM and it works online flawlessly. WTF is happening?
