^^ Yeah I just finished the campaign then. Was pretty good I thought. Agree on the voice syncing, was embarrasingly bad at some points. Lucky you mentioned sound drop outs, was starting to worry it was my TV/PS3. Looking forward to the MP now.
 
Hmm, I've had the sound drop outs too. As well as constantly repeating dialogue. Wonder if they're in the same spots?

FWIW I've just got past the
snow section with the big oil rigs, almost the whole way on the ride with the hover things I was getting Rico and Sev cutting out.

Anytime Rico gets cutout is a blessing though...the douchebag.:thumbsd:
 
sweet of them to only make two maps! but seriously, I have only played corinth highway about ten times and the snow level a couple.

The balancing of teams in this game is ****in terrible and at one stage a game started and it was 5 on 1?????, and whats with not being able to throw out your own spawn points :( any half decent team can just spawn trap a side now wtf,
AND if i just wanted to play KZ2 maps i will go play KZ2 FFS i have only played 2 new maps out of about 4 hours gameplay.

This just deosn't feel as epic as KZ2 did, atm KZ2 beats KZ3 by a fair way

Looks freakin awesome, sounds freakin awesome. That's probably where it ends for me, but I wouldn't consider myself a 'gamer', like HBK etc, so I would probably take his opinion more seriously. But I will say what I think about the game so far.

I haven't played all the maps yet because everybody keeps selecting Corinth Highway, so don't know much about them. Have been spawn r*ped so many times because people only want to be marksmen or infiltrators. That's the part that shits me the most. That, and seeing people sit 100 metres away from the assassination target! Or, when the assassination target on our team runs out into the open and dies instantly. I wouldn't mind seeing a mode where you are auto-assigned a role, so you have no choice! I think I have only been revived maybe once or twice as well.

It's hit and miss with the guns with me. the LMG's are useless to me unless the enemy is right in front of me... which is frustrating for me because I am always an engineer. I don't understand why myself as an engineer can't select an assault rifle. The shotgun is my favourite gun and probably have the most success with, but I only start using it when the team is 4-0 down. Have only used an assault rifle when I have picked one up off the ground.

KD is a useless statistic in this game. Annoying when you see someone in your team with 5+ more kills than you but have 1500+ points less. If you want to go in and win, be prepared to die a lot. I am always setting charges, killing the assassination target and delivering propaganda speakers, but I die so much.

yep, even when i was averaging 4+k/d a night in objective modes on cod back in the good net days my kz2 k/d was only about 1.8 or something cause i was always the one getting the objective done.....it's the only way i want to play since k/d really means **** all but you die ALOT in this type of game going for the objective. much more than in a cod like environment.

i think i will still love it but wish the bigfooty guys were all playing it still by the time i got on it :(
 
^^ There are a few problems with the MP at the moment, but it's not too bad. I think I will continue to play it over Black Ops for a while, unless it becomes empty quickly.

And yeah most of the other players seem preoccupied with their KDR rather then going for objectives. I've managed to keep my KDR at around 1.04 (massive drop from COD to this) while going for objectives in every match, so I cant complain too much. Add to that the majority of the time I end up with most kills anyway. Just be prepared to die a lot to get them.

Spawn rape is probably the biggest issue for me currently. Have been stuck in games dying 5-10 seconds after spawning. Gets really tiring after a while. Ended up playing more of the Operations mode because of it, which is a shame because I love Warzone.

Yeah agree with a lot of the comments above. The biggest issues in multiplayer at the moment are:

- Matchmaking: Getting pretty sick of either absolutely dominating to the point that it’s boring or spawning at the same spawn point 30 times in a row and seeing the same **** heads half cloaked trying to snipe people. All the while the objective is on the other side of the map. When the game is even, and everyone is having a decent crack, it is really intense, good fun. Sometimes unbalanced games happen, but the point is when they do the next time the lobby generates mix things up a bit FFS.

- Loading/Time in Game: The above wouldn’t be as much of an issue for me if the TDM version in KZ3 lasted longer than grro’s lovemaking sessions. They are all over so quickly which combined with painfully long loading times (another 30 secs FFS!) means you spend as long staring at the leader board/spawn screen as you do running around killing people. They need to patch that and make TDM go for longer. I suggest nasal spray.

- Class/Weapon Set Up: Yep, 80% of the players out there are infiltrators or marksmen. I am seeing a few more medics these days as that class increases in power more than the other classes. I mentioned above that not being able to select your own abilities and guns greatly limits this game and I stand by that. For me the Tactician is the most powerful class in team objective modes as whoever controls the spawn points, controls the game. Combined with the Recons radar ability and the flying drones I never understand why more people don’t go as Tact’s - maybe because the first gun is kinda weak. I usually start off as the Tac, swap to an Engineer to create some ammo crates and then go to the Marksmen.

Still, for mine, it’s much better than CoD: BrokeOps. I haven’t rage quitted once, not once, and I have been on the end of some whoopings. I will say that it is much, much more fun with friends too - you can collaborate and work together and make things easier - stuff like quickly spawning as an engineer if your mates are running out of ammo, or as a Tact if you’re struggling to capture that key spawn point. I haven’t played it by myself yet and I suspect it would be far less enjoyable if I did.
 
Quick tip: When you're the assassination target, don't run out in the open and die in the first 5 seconds.

I have rage quit so many times. I hardly ever rage quit in games. When I die 10 times in a row 5 seconds after respawning, I can't take it. And to hear the sounds the characters make when they die makes it worse, really grinds my gears. And to think they eased up on the death sounds after the beta, it sounds like a guy jizzing a truckload! "AHHHHhhhhhhhhhhrrrrr....ahahhhhhhhhhhhrrrrr!"

Getting towards the end of the game co-op styles and it has been pretty good so far. A decent enough challenge on Hard, might consider giving Elite a crack later on.

I ****ing lost it when that cut scene came on though as I had already read this post, definitely a bit of Brokeback about that scene.
 
to those who got the collectors edition and have played online....

is the double xp for the first 24 hours just simply only lasting for the day you redeem it...like, even if you only play for 30 minutes?
or does it seem to be for 24 hours of online gametime?

i don't really want to redeem the code now for all of the stuff only to not jump online for a couple of days and either lose out on my double xp altogether or waste it by only playing for about an hour.

It's supposed to be 24 hours after you redeem the code but I still have double xp (redeemed my code on Thursday night)

I've only played for 11 hours online and am already level 29 with 57 unlock points, with everything still unlocked.

It's only 24 hours real time, so if you entered the code now the double xp would finished this time tomorrow night.

A few people that entered there code on Thu are still going strong with the double xp.

I used mine Sat so im done, i only got 3 hours gameplay with my double xp :(

Well i'm just about done with this one, i'm playing the same maps over and over ffs, i'm tired of the amount of bullets i need to pump into them just to get a ****in kill, seriously i have about 300 kills and 120 assists ffs they just dont go down for me.
