PS4 Killzone : Shadow Fall

I'm not personally disappointed, I'm just highlighting the fact that the reviews suggest it's a big disappointment, especially considering how much hype it gained.

Was this hype gained somewhere else? I don't remember anyone talking up how highly rated the game would be.

Most said it looks like an absolutely gorgeous shooter that should be fairly fun to play, especially at 60fps. Which seems to be the case, won't be for everyone, but should be for most that like shooters.

Anyone still playing this? Thought I would give it another crack a couple of weeks ago and been enjoying it, just took a bit to know what loadouts worked for me.

Nope. This had the honour of being my 1st PS4 trade in.

Multiplayer was ok but not something I could see myself putting time into.

Did anyone end up finishing this?

I was late to the party picking it up on sale a few weeks ago and found it pretty interesting.

I'm not a big fan of the FPS genre usually, but this played well and held my attention until the end.

Did anyone else find the last two chapters brutally hard?

Took me about 30 attempts to pass chapter 9 on normal.

Picked up the Killzone Mercenary on Vita as well and have been enjoying that too.

I installed the game, then all the patches, then all the map packs which ended up being 10GB+ Only to find a grand total of 8 matches being played world wide. Gave it a crack, was really laggy and it just didn't feel right. The very next match I was kicked because I didn't have the paid DLC.

I've been told not to bother with SP so I didn't touch that. I regret the purchase.

Have finally got around to completing the campaign in the last week. 8bittotheFuture - I found Chapter 7 Last Stand to be really difficult. There were a few tricky moments in the following chapters too. The difficulty curve was actually pretty well "curved".

For those who've not played it, I'd suggest it's worth the time of picked up cheap. I thought it wasn't too bad.
