She played Wozniacki (grand slam final virgin before that day) in the final... and beat the Williams sisters who were in really shit form because they barely practised as they only needed to rock up to grand slams to win them after henin/clijsters retired and jankovic/ivanovic/safina/dementieva all went into a terrible form slump. The competition was seriously ridiculously poor last year.

Clijsters is only a chance for Roland Garros and the US Open, but like I said it my earlier post 1.5 is pretty crap for the wait/risk.

I can never be bothered backing something that short for such a long term bet tbh.

It is NO value whatsoever. A very risky bet as she will almost certainly make the semi's in atleast 2 Grand slams and is a big chance of taking one out. Also the waiting factor for such a bet is too long for me. It could get up but no way worth the risk and time.

Not a bad price.

She's only won 2 grand slams in her career and made a final 5 times.

Her record in grand slams is pretty ordinary to be honest.

I would say there is value there too. Any ideas what she would be paying to win Wimbledon/ Us open if she came into them with a decent run and no injury? $5ish?

Well in that case 100 @ 1.50 not to win, 10 to win Wimbledon, 10 to win US looks good. Would play around with the multiples of 100 there because a $30 profit over 5 months probably isn't worth it.
10.50 on betfair for wimbledon..

probally be around the same for us open..

selling the house now

I'm strongly considering loading up. 30% ROI after 4 months isn't bad. The worst case scenario is breaking even. Does anyone have any idea how big a bet Sportingbet would take on this? If they won't take any more than 500 I probably wouldn't bother.

Wow $400 now... it was $100 when I joined last year. I might ring tomorrow and get it sorted. I would hate to deposit $1000 only to be told it won't be accepted, then have to turn it over before I can withdraw.
