Right so a kingmaker could out themselves to avoid a lynch with no real danger except being an eventual night kill. If the numbers are lopsided later on it could be an easy win.

I think this is where I stuffed up. TFW was the first chosen day executioner by an always Good King. TFW could be anything. The Kingmaker has now gone on and chosen Sante to make a kill.

This doesn't make any sense. If the King can't be evil and you can't have repeat kings then we're very quickly going to know who is evil. Seems as a villager I don't really have much impact on the game at all until I'm a King and then I'm back to being useless.

By the look of it, the initial king was chosen by the KINGMAKER who can never be evil. The king could be a villager or assassin.

The kingmaker chooses a new king each night and cannot be an assassin. The kingmaker is a good guy. The king could be anyone except for the kingmaker.

Unless bob chooses the first king then I am sure they get to choose out of everyone. Otherwise they would get a list of people who were assassins which wouldn't make sense.

Basically we are meant to give advice to the king. So it's not a vote count as such, but reasoning as to your lynch choice. But yeah, ultimately the king decides. So if we are pretty set on an assassin and the king ignores us, well then we have a lead.
