For better or worse he is now in the fold and will wear the black with yellow sash. Good Luck to him.

Does Tivendale breath a sigh of releif at a new whipping boy a coming or do we have a 40 plus goal forward on our hand?

Fine by me. Not doing cartwheels or anything of the sort, but thank heavens we didn't draft a Cloke.

All power to him - cheap too.

Would he be worth the #8 jumper?

Congratulations Kent.

You are now part of the Yellow and Black army, so whatever you have done in your career before today is irrelevant.

Your time begins today......... and i wish you all the best.

another avenue to goal that comes cheap isnt going to hurt us. Welcome aboard Kent and gotta feeling you want to make a statement to a few at the cattery as well. ;)

:) WILL end the season with 47 goals - a nice return, including one bag of six against either Fremantle or Essendon and another of five v Geelong and a couple of fours!
A pretty solid debut year in the yellow and black!

A decent cheap pick up, that can hopefully take some of the reliance off the great man Richo. Hope he does well.

That is where he may be of some benefit. Rather than having 2 or 3 on Richo, and plonking the best small defender on Browny, other teams may now also have to look at not leaving KK alone. Not a world-beater, but may take some heat off.

Can't wait for parrot's response:D

He has nothing really, because Carlton picked up Cam Cloke, what more needs to be said, a bigger dud their isn't:thumbsu:

They got rid of Chris Bryan and Got Cameron Cloke.......very poor management by Carlton, extremely poor, whereas Collingwood would be happy with that exchange. Both cant ruck properly, but Bryan has better skills and more athletic capabilities.

gee id love to be buying presents for you lot, aslong as its cheap you dont mind if its rubbish

awful, awful day

Hahahahah your a joke PLSC at least we know kingsley can play a bit of footy and it's not much of a risk as taking a young kid who hasn't been tried yet. Yes, Kingsley will have up and down periods. But when in good form with richo, brown, pettifer, krakouer richmond can be a force next year. Development of Hughes and Riewoldt will take a while and they will be made to earn their spot with Kingsley in the side. His a tiger now so don't hang *&$# on him.

Kingsley'll be good. Makes Richo's life easier, makes Hughes' (in particular) and Riewoldt's development steadier, likewise Schultz who will hopefully be moved around a bit to get a feel for the ball. Embrace it - enjoy the Tigers as they take you places that we all enjoy going to.

Congratulations Kent - lets hope he comes good.

  • Theory One - Massive backwards step for the club. Picking up a 28 year old hack when the club is trying to rebuild.

  • Theory Two - great get, how often can you pick up a player which has kicked 57, 57, 48 hauls of goals in the last few years for more or less free? With Brown/Richo in the forward line he will get a lesser defender who he should be able to beat. At worst he kicks bags for the Burgers helping the kids in the 2's develop.
