saw this on the footy show and had to make sure you guys knew about it

So if you love KISS but don't barrack for Collingwood you won't buy one, if you barrack for Collingwood but don't love KISS you won't buy one. Pretty limited market I would have thought.

yes that would be a problem if that applied i am sure there are KISS fans out there that support the pies too but how many i don't know and whether they like the shirt or not that will be another story

Could be the start of a new marketing line fusion between Music and Footy. Apart from the make up , I can't see what KISS links to the Pies.
Surely there must be other bands that can be affiliated with us.

i am not sure why they joined forces either to be honest but hey for a kiss fan who is a pie maybe they might want one

out of interest if a band you loved came along and wanted to do something like this what band would you love it to be ??

concert shirts are sooo dear and i bet they don't cost any where near that to make

If be surprised if they costed $5 a pop. You can get about 100 shirts printed for $10 each, if you were doing 10,000 I imagine it's a bit better (and they'd have better contacts).

The print quality is much better when have it done professionally. For $10 you get those stencils that are ironed on. A few washes and they start to crack up or peel off. Merchandise shirts are bloody expensive but usually much better quality. And those shirts are the one you want to keep as long as possible.
I wore my Slayer 1990 Tour Shirt last time they were here. A bit faded but the print itself still in good condition.

But if you hate KISS & then hate Collingwood even more...you can buy one & burn it ! Now that is a huge market...

I would like to 'like' this - but Kiss? Someone in marketing has lost the plot at the Westpac Centre.

link is to their actual page and it was on footy show as well
not a hoax

If there is one band from my era that I simply can't have it's Kiss. No talent, crass, represented the very worst element of American showbiz. The drummer couldn't even keep time live.

Now - if there was a tee shirt where I could have my favourite all time footy player (John Greening) combined with my favourite all time guitar player (Ritchie Blackmore) I'd happily fork over some cash for that even a combination of the pies and the cover from my all time favourite album
