Knife pulled in St Arnaud IGA

We shop in St Arnaud and other places being where we are. Today St Arnaud.
Was going through the ailes and had an "off your face on..." behind me" most of the time laughing and talking to nobody. I shrugged it off as usual for everywhere. At the checkout in the ilse next to I hear yells and screams. Then louder. Off your face girl about 30 now confronted for shoplifting. BOOM out comes a serious blade knife looking like one of my serious hunting knives, big sharp bladed. She is screaming "get away get away, people take from me now nobody takes from me", went on for a few minutes threatening anyone. She kept holding out the knife, took her stuff and left. Police were there within 2 minutes. She'd left though but seeing the trauma expressions on peoples faces was pretty full on. The area was tight and I saw couple of way more younger serious units than me watching. She was through the ordeal "back off" and stepped back, less threat. Played out as best could be for those around.
I believe she'd be in hospital if she'd be stepping forward there knowing St Arnaud.

Horrifying stuff...sickening that some people think this sort of thing is appropriate amongst people and families that just want to go about their day.
