I usually enjoy your posts because they are funny & clever, but sorry I think this one is in very poor taste.
A lot of innocent people died as a result of the above crimes & I feel that trying to use them for humour is an insult to the memories of the victims & their families.
Sorry if you don't agree, I just don't think these crimes shouldn't be made light of.

No worries TT, it is just that the Hoddle St shootings is a bit close to home for me, I was still living in Melb at the time & I used to go that way to & from work, so when it happened I was shaken up pretty badly, thinking if I had left a half hour later, it could have been me.

In December 1862 during the American Civil War, the Confederates had just blown away the Federals at the Battle of Fredricksburg. As the Confederate Army re-occupied the town they saw the wanton vandalism caused by the retreating Federals.
When Stonewall Jackson was told of what had gone on in the town he said
"Kill them, kill them all"
