Adam Merrett kicked 20 against Naracoorte - fair effort.
Haven't seen a haul like that since the Stuart cooper, Nigel fiegert era. Was that against naracoorte. What's happened to naracoorte I thought they recruited well this year.

I would imagine certain clubs wont be even close to be able sticking to the 4k payout per week let alone 3k next year. Clubs and towns wont survive out there if enforced...i heard barossa light and gawler league told the CFL what to do with their supposed salary cap and would imagine as one of the highest paying leagues in country footy the kntfl is in the same boat.

Does anyone actually know the kntfls official stance on the salary cap issue or is everyone just carrying on as per normal?

Any news on kaniva leaving the league or border districts merging

http://www.naracoorteherald.com.au/story/4532628/klu-cougars-announce-big-recruits/?cs=1236

Kaniva/Leeor United has signed a former AFL player as it seeks to rise back up the KNTFL ladder.

The Cougars have signed former Port Adelaide Power player Cameron Hitchcock, who had a stellar year for South Adelaide in the SANFL last year, culminating in selection in the state team.

Hitchcock played a total of 35 AFL games with Port from 2010-14 and he has also played with success at Port Adelaide Magpies and Glenelg.

The Cougars have also picked up another former South Adelaide player, Cameron De Visser, a friend of Hitchcock who is expected to fill a key position role.
