long time Koby lover here. Sad to see him go, was my favourite player for a while. Tough, can impress you with his kicking, tackling, ability to get his hands free and his contested marking.

His dogs career was an almost career. Easily best 22 when firing this year but had niggles throughout which held him back from playing his best footy.

If his body's right, which it has no reason not to be next year, he'll help you win footy games

Stevens is actually a fair bit like Savage when we picked him up. Not quite best 22 at the premiers, seems to have the ability and drive to make it but just can't find a position to make his own. He looks to have really strong character like Sav, too. Hopefully he can fit into the team like Sav has.

Was thinking the exact same earlier today. Sav was a canny trade hope this one is too.

What's his best position?

he's a very good stoppage midfielder but can spread, rests forward to reasonable affect because he can float in and mark well overhead. not a bad nose for the goals either. i know i'm making him sound like Ablett junior but it really has just been his body holding him back. Bloke's an afl footballer

I'm very bullish about him. Especially after reading the comments from our Bulldogs visitors. He obviously has exceptionally good judgement too...choosing us over the Bombers. :D

Will be great to have another local indigenous Victorian on the team. Briefly talks about the legacy of Nicky Winmar.
Mitch McCarthy should add more indigenous talent this year (to the Category B rookie list). He's only been aware of it the last few years.

Happy to welcome both and maybe a Simpkin, Bolton, Cedric Cox or Powell-Pepper.

We only get McCarthy if he's passed over in both drafts, so our zone is pretty useless.
