Who was that? I will know if your being honest.
The main reason he wont demand much rather than not doing anything on the AFL stage for 2 years but more so the fact he is uncontracted and wants to go home. Meaning eagles will likely be forced to accept unders or see him walk into PSD.

Well at a minimum he should be worth what we paid (around 25). I just think the MC doesn't think there is a spot for him with Priddis doing the heavy grunt work at the moment. We got 28 for Brad Ebert and I would imagine Koby of a similar worth.
He wont walk into the PSD either as both GWS/GCS would jump at the chance to take him.

Matt Thomas would be a waste and adds nothing to the team. Hes fine for a team like Port who have a lot of nothing players adding stuff all. What West Coast would be looking for, we probably cant get as replacement for Stevens(top quality mid). I cross my fingers we keep him (despite this frenzy he still hasnt said hes leaving), simply because hes our next best mid.I genuinely like Kobe...but he is not Brad Ebert ...who for mine should be Powers captain next year...I think Matt Thomas is fair value? 2 rd picks have serious currency this year ...more so than the pick we gave for Brad...would put 3 rd on table if pushed maybe

Ryder or ZaharakisWhat do WCE fans want for him?
To the west coast supporters who believe they will get a 2nd round selection for stevens , The best example i can give you is this - who is better for the west coast ATM Josh Hill or Koby Stevens
None of this post makes sense, firstly just because he was drafted around 25 doesn't automatically mean he is worth that. He is going into his fourth year next year with only a handful of average games under his belt with no clear sign of him being able to break into the team, as proven this year by being constantly overlooked.Well at a minimum he should be worth what we paid (around 25). Stevens and third round for second round?
Stevens and third rounder for our third rounder
I doubt we seek him, but that's probably about market
Well hill was about an inch away from being delisted and most likely would have been if he wasnt traded. Thats the difference, you cant judge a players trade worth a year after the fact with them having a career best season afterwards. If hill was traded now we'd get a second round pick for him.
Sometimes thats what happens, Mitch morton to sydney, Josh hill to west coast, Maric to richmond , Shaw to sydney etc etc etcOnce you get to pick 55, all picks are worth the same to us. Nothing, because we won't use them.
If no team values him better than 55, or an upgrade of one of our picks to something better than 55, then we are essentially giving him away, McKinley-style.

But Clubs wont over pay for a player thats injured alot and not best 22 for their team, Have a look at all the players Geelong have let go over the years. as you said a pick upgrade would be more suitable but will only be a slight upgrade eg. Tigers 2nd for WC 2nd or similar
This is total Rubbish mate !! Josh Hill was on the Dogs list for 4 years & already played 66 games for them, He was a required player and a regular player until he informed them he wanted to leave to go home - how is a player thats played 66 games in 3 years an inch away from delistings? - Stevens would be alot closer than Hill was to delistment.
Also Josh Hill has played 22 games this year in a new team that he has just come to, Where stevens has been for the last 3 years and cant get a game - HE HAS PLAYED ALL 22 GAMES
Josh Hill 23 yo 88 afl games (22 this year)- wc gave up pick # 49
Koby Stevens 21 yo 11 games( Constantly injured) suspect kicking & His team doesnt really have a spot for him + He wants to leave to get a go ...... Pick 50+ would be more that reasonable

Actually he'd managed 66 games in 5 years, not 3. In 2011 he played just 12 games for 5 goals, wasn't a regular player and seemed in a real funk. Stevens hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities but he's well regarded by the club and the leading candidate for the next opening in an inside mid position - this has been stated a few times in this thread but seems to have escaped you.
Firstly, Hill was lucky enough to play in a position where there was a pressing need due to injuries to LeCras and Nicoski. As I've said, Stevens hasn't got chances because Kerr, Priddis, Shuey, Selwood etc have played nearly every game.
Secondly, I don't see how Hill making the most of his second chance is at all relevant to what we traded for him when you're saying that Stevens is essentially worthless. If he ends up at Richmond, or Essendon or Carlton or GWS, plays all 22 games and finishes top 10 in their B&F, then doesn't that show he's valuable?
He's not constantly injured. He had OP when drafted but seems to have been resolved. He's had a couple of impact injuries this year at WAFL level but nothing that would cause any concern. Again, that's been pointed out earlier but has gone past you.
A pick somewhere in the 30s would be reasonable, or some sort of pick upgrade. A pick in the 50s would be a ripoff and would be worthless to us (as pick 49 last year would have been, by the way, because we weren't going to use it). Fortunately the list people at AFL clubs have a far better grasp of all of this than you, or indeed me.
The old straw man argument - We won't go past pick 50 - But the draft always goes down to 90.
