I think our pick is 17 so not that much of a stretch I wouldn't have thought... Depends on who Melbourne have their eye on, if they are picking on a needs basis and believe that player will still be available at pick 17, they would be silly not to do the deal imo.

we wont get much for him. but it wont be pick 50 (jesus, people really rate their 1/10-will-become-an-afl-player draft picks, dont they?).

if we can get below 30 great, anything later than that, and we are getting bent over. the fact that bottom 2 are GWS,GC helps us. no doubt he could get a game at GC, GWS another matter.

If North are in the running then West Coast can start at pick 35 and move forward.

If Geelong offer pick 36, Roos offer pick 35, Geelong offer 15 and 36 for 17, Roos offer 14 and 35 for 17.

That's the dream anyway
