I was referring to the amount of dollars assigned to individual players. The Dogs don't have a Riewolt, Brown, Pavlich sucking up $1million a year. When Boyd and Murphy are your top players, you know there's plenty of money to go around.

Performed reasonably well in 2011 when we had a decent team, and fell off completely this year. His best year was clearly 2009 for Brisbane though.

Dodoro didn't sound too hot on him on radio the other day, although maybe they knew they were out of the race by then.

He is a good get for the Doggies, not sure he is exactly what they need, but he should form a decent midfield in the future with Libba and Wallis. Could potentially be plagued with the same problems their midfield suffered during their last tilt at the flag though, bit slow and blue collar, but we'll see.

Yes, when I said the Dogs midfield was 'a bit slow' I actually meant every single player on the Bulldogs list was slow. No exceptions.

In 2006 we traded Doogs and pick 35 to the Bulldogs for pick 29.
In 2007 we traded picks 35 and 30 to the Bulldogs for pick 22.

How many draft picks are each club intending to use in the 2013 draft?

So far we have to replace Neates, Lynch and Swift, and Stevens going makes that at least 4. Wellingham is on board, and potentially Cripps may also join us. I don't think Brown is going anywhere. Weedon, Stevenson, Strijk etc. are no guarantee to stay on the list either.

We're obviously not going to get pick 21, but I think our recruiters will look to try and consolidate 3 picks as early as possible and I don't think we'll use more than 3, perhaps 4 picks. I guess we'll find out tonight what picks we actually have to trade with.
