Isn't it obvious
His up for a misdemeanour
The initial thing he lied about? Definitely possible.

Point is its pretty hilarious decreeing there's nothing there when his statement is literally "this summary does not include all of the facts known to me regarding this offense". For the last month people have been saying 0 charges would come from the investigation blissfully unaware that someone had already pleaded guilty to one.

Since July august
What are you on about? Stop obfuscating.

Facts:
  1. Papodopolous was a Trump foreign policy advisor during the Presidental campaign
  2. After being appointed, he was contacted by Russians (email, face to face, skype, telephone), including the Russian ambassador to London, and a woman who claimed to be related to Putin (his niece) and a 'Professor' with contacts in the Duma.
  3. The Russian contacts actively sought an 'off the record' meeting with then candidate Trump in London
  4. The Russians offered the Trump campaign emails the Russians had hacked from Clintons account (referred to as 'dirt').
  5. The Russians supported candidate Trump
  6. Papodopolous referred this information to people identified as 'senior campaign officials' on several occasions, letting them know about the existence of the dirt and the support of the Russians, and their desire to meet candidate Trump 'off the record'
  7. Once the shit hit the fan, Papadopolous deleted his facebook account, changed his phone number, and lied to FBI officials about the above
  8. He recanted his denials once shown evidence he was lying (no doubt transcrips of those emails and skype calls digitally recovered by the FBI).
These are the accepted facts. Papadopolous and the FBI both agree this to be true.

Can we deal with these facts first before you start dribbling meaningless hakus again.

Which fact do you think Papadopolous and the FBI are 'making up' at the 'behest of the MSM'?

You said she was in bed with the Russians above. This isnt evidence of that, it's evidence of the Clinton camp funding a private US company to find out if Trump and his cronies were in bed with the Russians.

[Clinton and the DNC funding people to uncover Trumps collusion with Russia] is not the same thing as [Trump colluding with Russians].

The Democrats or Clinton trying to uncover evidence of [a Presidential candidate colluding with a foreign power in order for that candidate to influence a domestic election] is not unlawful.

A Presidential candidate colluding with a foreign power to influence a domestic election, is.

Jesus Christ, you're more deluded than Essendon fans were re Hird.

I mean cheer Trump on all you want, but can we at least talk facts here?

Its not a question of If the Rusians supported Trump. The question is: Why were the Russians supporting Trump?

Why?

I have already conceded every FACT 3 times
Why are you incapable of comprehending that ?

He met Putins niece who isn't Putins niece
An ambassador who isn't an ambassador
We are not quite sure whether the professor was a professor.

He lied to them how influential he was
And they lied to him
With the idea of setting up a high level meeting in Russia which never happened .

What an espionage book that will make.

So the Russians were trying to influence the election by discrediting Clinton (they hacked her unsecure email account, and then offered these to Trump) and favoring Trump. They were actively trying to court Trump staffers, and high level Trump administrators were aware of this attempt.

Thats admitted now. Great.

Now for the million dollar question. Why?

This is what I said
"How is the Trump teams' search for dirt on Hillary any different to the Hillary team nosing around the Russians to obtain dirt on Trump? "

You innocently misunderstood

You also innocently misunderstand that looking for dirt by Trumps team is colluding. But for clintons is opposition research.

See unfortunately a seed was planted in your mind by MSM and at the critical moment it escaped your attention and is now grown into a big tree effecting many other thoughts

This happens to all of to varing degrees. It starts with our parents then teacher bosses media

Authority figures

This is why people can believe stuff so unquestioningly

why Putins might prefer Trump is simple

The rest is fantasy fiction conjecture projection everything but reality

In other news the FBI now have an informant clearly stating that the Russians approached him with Clintons emails (they hacked) and sought to arrange a meeting with Trump.

Did that also 'not happen'? More 'fake news'?
I’d believe in Santa Claus more than any so called informant to the always honest fbi...

Its not 'the dirt' that is the concern mate. Its the fact the Trump side were (allegedly) colluding with a foreign power in order to obtain that dirt.

52 U.S. Code § 30121. Contributions and donations by foreign nationals

(a) PROHIBITION It shall be unlawful for—

(1) a foreign national, directly or indirectly, to make—

(A) a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value, or to make an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, in connection with a Federal, State, or local election;

(B) a contribution or donation to a committee of a political party; or

(C) an expenditure, independent expenditure, or disbursement for an electioneering communication (within the meaning of section 30104(f)(3) of this title); or

(2) a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) or (B) of paragraph (1) from a foreign national.

In Australia you cant sit for office if you own any allegiance to a foreign power (see the recent High Court decision). The US requires you to be a natural born citizen of the USA to sit for the office of President. There are prohibitions on foreign donations and assistance in State, Local and Federal elections (see above). There are a number of laws in the US (and in Oz) prohibiting collusion with foreign nationals with relation to government, governance and elections.

Hopefully you can see the reason why these laws exist.

The dirt was obtained via Russian espionage and hacking. The Russians wanted to use the dirt to get Trump in power (in an election also influenced by russian espionage and hacking, also in Trumps favor).

In addition to being totally unlawful, it raises the serious question of WHY they did it?

Why do the Russians want Trump in power? What leverage do they have over him? What do they have to gain from it?

Dude your trolling
That's a lot of effort to troll little old me - thanks.

Didn't you read any of the allegations against manafort?
His activities in the Ukraine?

You see those activities related to Trump I suppose?

The collusion and corruption of the obama administration in regards to both Russia and ukraine is exactly why this complete nonsense is directed at Trump.

They ****** up big time. There is payola and treasonous scams, huge sums runs involving not just manafort and Podesta but many more on both sides of politics.

Remember the Ukraine was destroyed with assistance from the obama administration.

Billions were used to make that happen and billions exploited afterwards.

If Putin has information it will be about the Ukraine.

As for Hillary's & podesta's emails who knows how Wikileaks got them. They have shown themselves to be stupid enough without the Russians.

Trump is relatively clean and untouchable because he is new - no other reason - if they could open up his private business dealing before the election - then you hit pay dirt maybe.

Again, I dont want one of your nonsensical hakus, or shit dribbling without answering the question.

I want to know why the Russians wanted a Trump administration in the US.

You admitted above that they did. That they were actively attempting to stop Clinton getting in, and actively assisting Trump.

Now I want to know why. You claimed to know why above.

Why do you think the Russians wanted a Trump administration in the US?

Explain it to me.

Explain to me why the Russians wanted a Trump administration in the US.
Putins 2015 Christmas speech detailed the litany of over reach and destruction by the USA

The destruction of the Middle East country after country

The refugee crisis in Europe is directly as a result of these policies.

The Ukraine was the last straw

He has since thwarted US foreign policy at every opportunity - from Syria militarily to trade deals with china and Iran. He twarted the coup attempt of erdogen in turkey.

He had all the reasons in the world to hate Hillary, who was part of the escalation of these mad USA policies and promised more of the same.

From a foreign policy perspective obama was a first class twit. His administration had continued bushs adminustration and escalated it with rampant corruption in epic scales.

Trump faces possible impeachment
But many of his political opponents face much more serious consequences.

That's why whatever happens - it's gonna get ugly.
