Nadal lost to Gasquet 6-4 7-5
Does not suit her.

The crowds are ordinary every year. I have to admit I only go because I have access to free tickets. I've seen some decent matches there over the years though.
Yeah I mean clearly a warm up exhibition event mid week will never attract big crowds unless a Federer, Nadal or Djokovic is involved.

It's kind weird though when you have guys like Goffin, Gasquet, Thiem etc still big names in the tennis world. It's a really good opportunity to watch them play for the purist, relatively low pricing and nice close seating.

I think even for purists, if you're gonna take time off work to watch some Tennis, you'd be taking the AusOpen days off, not for Kooyong

Not sure how Ebden made the final or how the Kooyong draw works. It's seems like Nadal and Novak agreed to play one match as a warm up.

Bouchard finally won a match though Destanee probably needs a break. At this rate, I don't see her having a long tennis career.

AUSSIE teen Destanee Aiava has been left close to tears after a straight-sets rout by former world No.5 Eugenie Bouchard in their Kooyong Classic match, saying she needs a break from tennis.

The 17-year-old had no answer to Bouchard, who posted a 6-2 6-0 victory on Thursday in their Australian Open warm-up in Melbourne.
