He was clearly hurt and that is why Kosi got 2, Trengove got 2 and Mumford got 2. All players were hurt and that is the difference. Why is it so hard to understand??
If Stevens got up and struggled to walk Corey would have got weeks. If you sling tackle you roll the dice - if you hurt the player you get weeks if the player is fine you get to play the following week. Easy!
I haven't seen the Kosi tackle but I'm glad Corey got off cos it was a great tackle.

So if you tackle a tough player that is ok but if you tackle a sook you get suspended?

TBH so was the Kosi one - Duncan was a dazed & stunned & went off for a bit - but came back on & played out the game - so that should mean he wasn't concussed.
I don't think either should have been cited - but obviously the MRP are trying to rid the game of those tackles.![]()

If you can't see the difference between Kosi's tackle and Trengove's tackle then your blind. Kosi should challenge the charge and he should get off.Neither should have received punishment but, given the Trengove tackle, there was no way they would escape some points.

No if you tackle someone who hits their head hard enough they are knocked out you get suspended. Don;t think it's fair to call Duncan a 'sook' when he played out the game.
I don't agree with either player being cited - but unfair to blame the player who was tackled.
If Corey had a bad record he would have got a week - he got a reprimand - which means he was cited for it
Unlike Trengove, Kosi actual has legimate case. There was no slinging motion. He just bought him to ground to in the tackle. If the tribunal was to agree with the MRP they would be basically outlaw bring a player to ground in a tackle which is absurd. He should - but I bet he doesn't.
Difference between Kosi and Corey according to the MRP was impact. Corey low, Kosi medium.
Both were Negligent and high - and Kosi's bad record means he can't get it down to one week.
EDIT: Not saying it's right, but that's their legalese distinction.
I agree completely.I don't get the "High Contact" part of it. Both tackles were not high, it was just unfortunate that the players being tackled didn't land well. But neither player made "High Contact" it was there head hitting the ground.
