kosi joined in training today. i asked him after training if he is playing this week, he said he needs to convince the coach that he is fit. Fingers crossed he plays as he's the captain of my super coach team

Maybe it's just me but I hate it when these kind of discussions revolve around whether a player is fit for a persons fantasy footy team.

On whether he's fit or not, much to Mike Sheehan's chagrin Lyon was sketchy with the details that he provided during his press conference last week. In The Age today Dr Peter Bruckner seemed to think he'll miss at least one more and possibly two.

Yes, Sheehan was a bit tetchy about that...! Struth, if you're going to write big tickets on a guy after two weeks (as Sheehan did), you've nobody to blame but yourself. At the time, Sheehan had written that it was remarkable that Lyon would tell him injury news so quickly, because no other coaches did that - maybe Lyon's learned that there are perfectly good REASONS for not doing that!

Like (I'm just spitballing here), the game has only just finished and you have NO IDEA yet of the seriousness of the injury. The pestering by the reporters about Kosi's injury, straight after the Weagles game, before any decent scans, or anything, reminded me of spoilt children yelling "are we there yet?" from the back of a car on a 10-minute trip. Sheehan's critique is hypocritical and just downright immature.

He's been named to play.

I wouldn't think his inclusion is by any means certain, they're probably just giving him up until game time to prove his fitness.
