Kouta at local level

Nice work, 95. Strikes me Kouta has been severely underused as a mentor/coach/assistant on the training track. Would it harm us to have a God helping the fellas through some clearance work drills?

I might be selling the great man short, but I'm not sure Kouta was all that cerebral about his footy.

"See ball, grab ball, shrug off muliple tackles and run faster than anyone else on the field" is not much of a take-home message.

Agree Thy - would luv to see the big fella working with our established inside mids and also show Zac and JR a few things as they're probably good bigger-bodied options for us in there. Might also be able to show our young KP a few things re body work/positioning i'd have thought. :thumbsu:

Walkley stuff. Not sure what Kouta is flogging, and what makes it newsworthy? Anyhoo, thought I would pass on my observation.

"I still work out. I still do my weights and run when I can,"

"I'm pretty much at my playing weight, so I'm pretty pleased with the way it's going."

"I didn't have any intentions of playing. I don't even know why I accepted to play, but sometimes it's about timing,"

That's 8 observations in the first person..

Thanks Kouta, bong time. :)

Honestly, you can't teach the shit he could pull off.

It would be like teaching someone to remake "Clash of the Titans" ;)

True enough, but this from Marc Murphy:

"A lot of people have helped me with how to handle a tag, people like 'Ratts' (Brett Ratten), Craig Bradley, 'Diesel' (Greg Williams), Mark Riley, my old man (six-time best-and-fairest winner John) and just 'Juddy' coming to the club."
