I know it's tough bud. You've invested so much time into it dating back to preseason but when you've burned through your trades with 7 weeks to go, you have to expect this end result. No team would survive the season without some type of carnage. Granted, the GAJ injury was extremely unlucky but he was a big risk regardless with his shoulder. Unfortunately it was the knee that did him.

I'm down to 1 trade (after having used 2 this week) and it's inevitable that I'm going to get screwed also. Dems the breaks.

Well this pre season I didn't put as much thought into my team compared to last pre season.

After the year I had last year I just couldn't be bothered wasting my time all pre season only to be disappointed at how shit my teams done.

So in that regard I am ok and my team has done alot better this year than last year too.

The Ablett, Sloane, Rockcliff trifecta has killed me. I have blown 7 trades just on those jokers alone.

Never predicted that bringing in Ablett would destroy my season in one weekend after he scored 189 last week.

Had cover on all my benches to cover short term injuries so felt like bringing in Ablett was worth the risk.

Just didn't expect Ablett to get a season ending injury the week I bring him in.

Goes with Rocky when I brought him in and got one game out of him before he broke his ribs.

Shit luck with all my trades this year, not much has gone right with them.

Yeah its really hurting at the moment.

Deep down I don 't think my team was good enough to win any of my main leagues anyways. Am in some mighty tough leagues this year but somehow top 4 in them all.

Like I said before I took a risk to get Ablett in as I thought I would have no hope in finals if everyone had him as captain against me and scored 400.

The better option for me would have been Beams > Bartel via Gray and Hamling > Kelly (Smith to D7) but the thought of Ablett destroying me for the next few weeks made me bring him in.

Turns out he has destroyed me anyways as in my team now.

Carnage season like no other. The GAJ>Sloane>Rocky merry go round has been ridiculous....among others.

This season will be known as 'the Steven Bradbury'. We're all collapsing before the finish line.

Last year was the "Bradbury year" for me. Remember the Rd 22 & 23 carnage? My shit team fell over the line while the "good teams" just absolutely melted away.

At least the farking sub rule will be no more next season.

That stupid rule has really made me hate SC at times.

I have ablett and beams to trade out and Im definitely going hodge as one of them but holding off on beams until i know what his injury status is and if he will be out beyond this week...... looking at an eagles player this week, either Priddis or Gaff. it will leave me with 3 trades

I agree whole-heartedly with this one. Both for football and SC. It has given a big advantage to those SC'ers who follow and watch every game of footy over the weekend. I'm never going to follow it that closely.
