Have you seen him turn Grant inside out? that was great skills. Plus he is showing some great evasive skills as well.D-Rod is going fine, he is not a superstar but he will a gem for us.Mark my words, i will bump this thread mid season again :)

lol at krakouer and his wonderful tackling

set low standards and you will acheive your goal

I can't get the game here because I don't have foxtel.

He will get the arse and become a superstar at another club.

Why do players don't care about our club?

It makes me feel sick in the stomach.
Who are all these players that leave Richmond and become superstars at another club? Most of the players I can think of who have left us in the last 10 years have either disappeared without a trace or have been fringe players at anothor club for a few years before disappearing.

i agree. tackling = second to the ball = not the way to play good football

Cerrainly true if it is your own man you are tackling. Krakouer spends most of his time tackling other people's opponents. He picks up a lot of the slack from our other forwards. If we drop Krakouer we need someone else like Hyde in the forward line to provide some pressure.

so krakouer is a good tackler but cant kick goals to save himself and schulz nails 2 goals a game all day everyday but wouldnt know forward pressure if it hit him in the face

where is the balance between attack and defence?

Problem with our side is too many players are just damn lazy and want the easy ball, they don't like the rough stuff.

That's why I like Krakouer ;) He works hard and tackles and loves the rough stuff. He also has that magic in his skills even if he doesn't get enough of it.

lmao at people defending a bloke who never gets much ball (he gets good game time in the middle) is always second to the ball always chasing tail and hence being forced to lay tackles.for every tackle he lays his opponent strolls past 5 times. this will never change his weaknesses ensure this. dud sums him up pretty well.

Totally agree.
Tambling has now gone ahead of him big time at playing the same role.

I would rather have first gamer Nathan Krakouer!

your right he hardly ever tackles his own opponent hes usually the one streaming down field delivering the ball onto a forwards chest.to play krakouers role of a defensive forward and lets face it thats what we are talking about you have to have pace stamina and an ability to get to the contest regularly something krappouer just doesnt have or do.

what really amazes me is hes been so poor for so long and still even intelligent people defend him.i suppose only at richmond eh.

personally i though Krak had improved this year - his work rate and stanima have improved - his tackling is still elite, and he is helping set goals up with assists and causing turnovers. if you get rid of him, who is going to replace him? i don't think we have any player really capable of playing the pressure forward role as well as he does.

surely he hasn't been that bad that he is coping after only round 2??

Again interesting observations here on yet another soft target. Shame Tiv is playing well really. Anyway, I wonder if anyone has listened to Sheedy or Daniher or Pagan talk about forward perceived pressure, in other words why they really want the likes of Lovett, both Davey's, Betts, etc in their forward lines? Maybe it just me? Sack Krak, he's useless and will never make it into the elite class!

Agreed, how much of the game all these negative idiots watch. My bet is they have definitely not played the game to not have an appreciation for Kraks work.

Hilarious to think that solely goal kicking equates to a good game, he's tackling is by far the best at Richmond and its just an uneducated cop out to say its because he is second to the ball(see chris Judd tackle count). I think his forward line defensive pressure is definitely reason enough to have him in the team and if he provides us with some of that occassional magic(as he does) then thats a bonus. Not to mention his fone assists.

Our forward line tackling is atrocious and he is the only player that flies the flag week in and week out, Wake up you idiots,he was solely responsible for locking the ball in on saturday on at least four occassions. If we're going to continue to play the Pettifers, richo's and schulz's in the forward line, who definitely have merit as forwards but desperately lack a defensive side then we NEED krak in the team. Please look at the bigger picture fools. He also tackles to hurt people which doesnt happen enough at the tiges.

All you negative posters that think you're the hard nosed trooper making the "hard" calls.... have a look at yourself, as mentioned by TT in another post it really is the easy option, finding positives with constructive argument is much more bold in my book.

we are still trying to find that small crumbing forward since 01 thats 6yrs of putting up with miserable failures.in that time pettrified and krappouer have been the mainstays what a joke eh.
have we tried anyone else for an extended amount of time apart from brownie i dont think so. its about time we did so imo whoever we play could do no worse than the hack. as i said and it may make me a fool for saying it. but krappouer is slow has no motor cant find the ball gets pushed around still, his lack of run is is killing us and worst of all he is lazy. ive been saying this since 02. if this makes me a fool at least im an honest fool.tis far better than being a deluded fool like your good self. go ahead put your head in the sand and accept mediocrity most fools do.but dont have a go at people for being honest for pointing out the unacceptable performances over his entire career and stating the glareing weaknesses in his make up. if you chose to ignore all this fine that would make you foolish just dont call me a fool for pointing it out.

keep telling the turth mate

no goals and less possesions than our defenders but he has been great according to most lol
