Seemed like Matty was showing some aggression there in that Blair tackle but I suppose his intensity was so high, as evidenced by his sheer hard running (and his spring and dash was impressive in that highlight alone). Great to see.

For a guy that's 200cms and supposedly carrying an injury, those one handed pick up are just bloody awesome.

It's a curious thing isn't it. He has certainly looked down and out for awhile and yet Friday's game suggests he's fine. Would love to know the real story. (I was certainly one who advocated resting him if the word on his knee was correct)

One thing I got from Kruezer's game was that 206's time at Carlton may end sooner rather than later as Matty highlighted how deficient Warnock's game is after the tap.

Hampson can be a useful KPF as long as we have at least one of our other one's there to take the heat off him and he can certainly ruck.

Now I'm not advocating getting rid of 206 at all but with him being out of contract, his lack of 'around the ground' presence and him being a distant 3rd in line in terms of a ruckman forward our hand may be forced by better offers to him both financially and in terms of the promise of game time.

The whole rucking department was out of sorts for the past 8 weeks. Players getting confused with the role and position. Robbie isnt going anywhere. With Shaun out, the club needs to put Robbie on some jump leads, press the "Power On" and hit the reset button - would do the world of good.

The big question the Blues face in the next few weeks is whether the back-up is Warnock (who may be missing this week through suspension) or a pinch-hitting Lachie Henderson, rookie Levi Casboult (just returning from a knee injury) or even the raw Luke Mitchell playing mainly forward.

It's not how they use Kreuzer. That appears in place: make him number one and give him support.

Now the Blues need to find the right support for Kreuzer to become a serious contender.

That's their big challenge, because in Kreuzer they have a number one ruckman of rare quality.
