Massive competiyion in the ruck this year. Hampson will be looking to solidify a spot. if he doesnt you can count on him wanting a trade. Warnock should be number one ruck. Kreuzers hitout work is not as good as the other two so he will be looking to play in another position. forward. the big question is who is the best forward ruck out of hammer and kreuz? Can one be good enough to be a perminant forward.

What will mitchell do? realistically mitchell will be doing well to play seniors. Remembrr waite will be number one forward. id love to see all three ruckman in and one make it as a perminant forward. Hampson is good hands away from being a gun. Kreuzer is basically an endurance athlrte and extra midfielder who rucks ok.

Honestly I cant call this at all, the unknown is ecciting.

Love that Humphrey has trimmed down to a petite 102kgs...will certainly be better for it. His incredible mobility and skill below his knees are what make him a freak. Could well become one of the best ruck rovers the game has seen. Everyone is talking about him as a forward but I have said before and will say again and again I'd love to see him spending time in the midfield as well. What a weapon he is.

Regarding Nic Nat...can't understand where the bagging is coming from. Still in development but boasts a highlights reel with tricks NEVER seen before by a big guy, Buddy included. Excitement machine.

Don't know how to post them here, but he already looks thin in the photos just put up on facebook. If he gets a strong pre season under his belt, hopefully he can have a breakout season.

I feel that Kreuzer would be wasted deep in the forward line. Sure he would do the role reasonably, but his best attributes aren't used in that role. I think he needs to play further up the ground, in either a Richo in his last couple seasons role, or a CHF who pushes right up the ground a.k.a Nick Riewoldt.

I don't think Kreuzer's ever going to be a high goal-scoring forward, but played further up the ground he could provide a huge presence who adds a lot to the team's structure.

Just had a look on Carlton's Facebook page. Don't know about Kruezer slimming down but from the pictures it looks like everyone else is bulking up. Some big blokes there.

Oh yeah I remember Nic Nat's 6 possession, 2 kick effort in the SF. We ran off the guy all night long. He's not the most agile footballer out there. The bad bits get glossed over by the media cheerleaders. But.... who cares. It's just interesting. i.e. the perception V reality thing.

:)
Jeeeze ..you are so far off the mark here that it's not funny

Are people happy to have all three rucks playing in the 22? seems to be some thought that its too much.

It seems like the club are going to try Warnock as no.1 and Kreuz and Hammer swapping from forward to 2nd ruck.

I think this will work but curious to see what other think.

No Kreuzer should be our first choice ruckman! Imagine if he can produce games like against Sydney consistently. Rather play Warnock full forward
Warnock isn't mobile enough to play as a forward for any length of time. Play him where he is most dominant, and that's in the ruck. You only have to look at his game against West Coast to see how good he was in that game. Warnock in the ruck for 75% of the game, and Kreuzer 25%

Will be the best ruck combo in the game in 2012.
