Pair of Dutch backpackers in Panama to learn Spanish. Go for a hike and never come back. They find a foot and a pelvic bone and the case has never been solved. The photos they found on their phones were creepy too.

Got lost and died before wild animals ate the bodies? Serial killer? It's a weird one.

My guess is they stumbled across a crop of coca being turned in to cocaine, got sprung by the grower who chased them. They hide and make emergency calls. Grower finds them and silences them.

How horrible for them and their loved ones.
