It's almost 10 years since the death of Kurt Cobain.

Suicide has always been debatable, yet murder has been hard to prove.

For those of you who aren't aware of the murder theory, there were quite a few inconsistencies regarding his death, and a large number of people have been working relentlessly to have the case re-opened.

And now people are starting to listen.

Within the next 1-2 weeks a whole bunch of new evidence which supports murder is going to be revealed. Some networks in the US are taking it very seriously, meaning NBC Dateline ( a huge rating show) is dedicating an hour or more to the murder theory on Friday night.

CBS, ABC, MTV, and CNN are also broadcasting similar shows.

Not sure if you have any TV acess to news/current affairs from the US, but if you do and if you're interested in Kurt Cobain or the way in which he died, it wouldn't do any harm to check it out.

Have a read of this article from undercover.com.au

I wonder if this book, and the 10 year anniversery have anything to do with Courtney Love's recent behaviour? She is really in the poo at the moment.

The "explosive tapes" mentioned in that article, will be played during a press conference in NY on the 5th. They're going to call for the case to be reopened.

You can read a small portion of the book here.

If you're awake early tomorrow morning, Dateline is covering the murder theories, and interviewing the guys who wrote the book, along with Tom Grant, the PI Courtney hired to find Kurt.

I went and had a gander at a little photo exhibition of some photos taken of Kurt at Mario's on Brunswick St today. Nothing special, although I loved the image of Kurt holding Frances, with Kurt wearing a t-shirt with the slogan "Grunge is dead", and mocking Frances' screams.

I missed the Dateline show (I just read this thread and found out then), but have read a lot on the theories of his death, and seen the movie Kurt & Courtney.

I don't know. Some of the evidence looks bona fide towards murder, but then something comes up that makes me think it was suicide.

As for MMM's slogan, it doesn't surprise me. D*ckheads that listen to that station (except for its football coverage) probably aren't huge Nirvana fans anyway, and would find it amusing. It is in very, very poor taste, considering the station seems to laud him as a rock hero.
