That's already happened...Grant, Rocca, Foschini, Morwood, Williams, Mitchell, Minton-Connell, Rhys-Jones, Jolly and the list goes on. We are now in the fortunate situation of having both a fantastic culture and success on-field. Adelaide knew Tippett was going to leave, they just didn't bank on him going to Sydney in place of one of the Queensland teams. Sucks to be them!
I am a rare crows fan that says shit happens haha. Ya win some ya lose some & we will still be up there with teams like u swannies, hawks & pies next year i hope. Just annoyin we have continuely lost players the last few years ina row, but meh we keep performing on the field so we cnt b to cranky haha. Mayve we shud get some extra cap so we can keep players & maybe attract players to adelaide, & you guys can keep your extra expenses cap

I think while every1 is agrueing with each other about who has done what. its not the swans or adelaides fault with what is goin on, the main reason their is so much shit goin on is because of tippo's manager, Blucher. I dnt blame the swans 1 bit, as i would be after tipo to if i was @ another club. End of the day its all sydney could offer, as we did get better offers but blucher wudnt have a bar of it. Shit happens i guess haha, this is just like days of our lives on both crows & swans boards haha

This is exaclty the type of thing that galvanises a club. The Tippett ta ta will fortify club Crows for season 2013!

Trade still hasn't gone through.

Wonder what the hold up is.

Maybe there is more to this than 22 and White?
I have a feelin the white trade isnt going to go through. Word is Angus Graham is on Adelaides radar now, so now we donnt have room for white. This is like days of our lives this trade haha. I seriously do not think the deal will be done today. Sando arrived back into Adelaide yesterday & stamp his authority with what is happeneing

Could be a good time to pick up White tho. Seriously, with the Nic Nat, no touch ruck rule, it could be White's time to shine in the ruck. Wrestling rucks like our current pair need to be creative next year to deal with the high leaping types.

I think the media went way over board with white, just cause he came to adelaide for a medical doesnt mean he is gona sign. Pretty sure fremantle had a medical done with gumbleton & nothing cameof it. Also last year port had medical for about 3 ruckman & signed the player who didnt come to adelaide for a medical haha. I feel for sydney fans aswell as adelaide fans, this is goin to drag on for alot longer than we expect. Fingers crossed for both sides the deal gets done early next week

Tippett is a very good player, and should improve steadily with time. I'm still not quite sure, though, where Tippett fits into the starting lineup. We are, after all, a Premiership side, and we have a pretty strong forward line and followers. Tippett's place in the side would be clear in three years or so, when the likes of Goodes, McVeigh, and Bolton are retired, and LRT and a few others will probably be nearing the end of the line too. However, for 2013, I'd appreciate it if someone here could tell me where, were they John Longmire, they'd put Tippett in the side. Suggestions?

Play Tippett up forward and put Goodes in the middle or down back when we need it. Bird or Parker might get pushed out of the starting 22.
