Roota that's probably 1 of the better things I've seen in country footy..... Great thing to offer your time & resources for Ardmona.....

I got contacted by my club today asking if I was aware I was in the interleague squad. I had no idea and had no contact prior. was told I had to respond by early next week if I was not available. Seems a strange system. I won't be available due to work/travel commitments but leaving the whole process a little late I'd say.
I hope they get most people making themselves available as I have played in the past and it's a great experience and recommend for anyone who is lucky enough to get selected. Rep footy should be seen as a real privilege. Would b great if it was treated the same way.

About 10 selected from the swannies, but the message was sent to the president to relay the message and want a response by Tuesday on availability. Given there are a lot of byes this year I would say we will see more put their hand up to play than in recent years.
Never met Reeves myself, anyone able to give a good run down on him? Can obviously coach given his past success.

Correct swoop what requirements have been put to them to meet for next season as a former administrator and player I am concerned About some of the poor decisions the club has made regarding still looking for coaches in January doesn't help their recruiting guido for someone that says he isn't involved with the club you seem to know a hell of a lot about the ex president and the clubs financial position also guido as you were the last named coach of wunghu when they folded what's the difference picola league really didn't give them a lot of chances to survive where kdfl has been very patient with Ardmona in giving them every chance to survive considering how poor on field they have been having been relegated to the reserves how does that help the club when financials nobody's going to watch reserves footy and how do clubs approach playing players in reserves against them for the clubs sake it all works out for them but it's going to be hard work

I know enough about the goings on at the club. Iwas offered the coaching job there the year willow was appointed. They gave me a good budget which was more than the club had ever spent. I didn't have faith in dwayne young that he could deliver on his word. I turned the job down. As a former president of the club i knew that budget was to high. In regards to wunghu. The afl and john O'Donoghue had made up there mind. The club had no debt. Money in the bank and had secured major sponsors. Also had 25 players on contracts with 12 of those players who had played in a senior premership. So to answer your question all depends on the league and the hierarchy above them. I do know they have players and sponsors committing for next year.

I think you'll find the sides that come up against ardy in the 2s will be stronger than normal as they will play senior players coming back from injury or senior players just needing a run !!

Totally agree, I really think Reeves has dropped the ball here, they say that they are trying to turn things around and have the best players we have wanting to play interleague yet they dont have the decency to call them personally. What was they thought pattern behind this Smooth??

Foll: Tattersall Horsburgh Roberts
Interchange: Stirling, woodcock, Lynch, Jack Excell, Emmett. Could be more in this mix just a rough guess.
