Point and look cool if you agree with Pantskyle.

This photo basically sums it up - he's a tool with absolutely no clue.

The problem is Reimers doesn't have the natural ability to be a problem player, Aker was a phenomenally gifted footballer in his right, so the Lions tolerated all the issues associated with his attitude because he delivered the goods out on the footy field. If Reimers upped his work rate and sorted himself out he'd be a decent player, but otherwise he's just not good enough to justify the issues he has.

I disagree with that. Reimers does have the finishing ability to carry a bad attitude .... if he was in a decent side. Essendon has been rubbish and/or mediocre for his whole career there.

From my understanding Kyle did it pretty tough through his teen years and it is common for kids like that to not feel like they have to work hard at things that come natural for them. They also see these outlets of talent as something to help build their fragile ego up with. Knights coached three of his formative years at AFL and encouraged him to run forward, this coaching and his need to build an ego were too much for the current coaching staff to over come.

Personally I think a kick in the pants like this and perhaps the indignity of having to wait until the rookie draft to have a football home again will be the wake up call he needs. Also if West Coast have room on their rookie list then 18 months of being a Le Cras understudy could see them with a real gem for 2014 season.

Don't know much about him but supposedly has a lot of attitude related issues. Apparently is lazy, selfish and a bit of a knob.

He might get rookied by someone but with the preference to try and get players with good character, can't see his chances being great - especially with so many glowing opinions perhaps shared by AFL clubs in this thread.

Seems to go to the Jarrad Brennan/Justin Sherman school of knobs with a bit of talent, but not enough to back up the crap they talk. Would not want him at my club, even on the rookie list.

Can I please have the huge list of people who have kicked 8 goals or more against GC please...i know the thread might go past 50 pages. That's alright we'll start part 2 to complete the full list. Just wanted to read it.
Think he is the only one tbh......

He kicked 8 goals in a win which was blown up to 90+ points in the first quarter

Other studs who have kicked bags on GC
Ashley Mcgrath-6
Aaron Edwards-5
Andrew Walker-5
Brad Green-5
Will Elliot-5

And they played in games where the end difference was no more then 14 goals

Swans or Adelaide maybe. Swans have 6>7 spots to fill on their list with only 2 picks inside the top 50 and they have a history of giving knob heads a second chance.

If Adelaide lose their 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks due to salary cap penalties it is reported they may need to consider looking at mature players / second club players.

He torched Sydney last year. Wonder if they'll remember that? His 2nd best game of the year (best obviously being against you guys).
He's better than Mitch Morton, for the last spot on the list.

Some players have all the skills in the world but don't put in the hard yards and don't have a work ethic - they don't succeed.
Pretty much. There's a third category though - players who have the skill, initially don't have a work ethic, but eventually develop it. It's a pretty select group though.

He kicked 8 goals against WCE in a match as well.
Still wouldn't want him at WCE though, everyone knew he was talented but a absolute dickhead before
he was drafted and hasn't changed much since then.
He is from Peel and unfortunately too many of Peel juniors have question marks on there character.

It's what happens when the ones who make it into afl circles come from south bunbury.

Better than Mitch Morton?? Morton has kicked 41 and 35 goals in a year. Remers best year was 17.

60 games 69 goals V 76 games 110 goals. Morton has him covered - I was wondering when somone would bring up a player that is worse than Riemers. Still have not found one though.

Another spud that Hird should have exited as soon as he arrived.
Hope no one picks him up
For? Pick 293?
Another Reimers or Michael Still or Ben Nason type? And take away 1-2 wins he actually had a tangible influence in?

They gave him another chance, it didn't come off. Don't really see how much difference it's made.

By "torched" do you mean 9 touches and 4 goals sheep dogging out the back that ended up seeing him receive 0 coaches or brownlow votes?? Great for the Horse to be able rest alot eaiser in the off season knowing does not have to cop another torching by Riemers.

Reimers kicked 27 last year.

You guys had worse than Reimers on your list for the last 6 years in Matt Campbell, 79 goals from 82 games as a forward isn't at all good. 2012 was a disaster for Reimers, yet he still averaged more possessions, goals, behinds, marks, inside 50s and even tackles than Campbell. Both would've started as sub at times, but seriously, if you wanted to find worse than Reimers, you didn't have to look too far.
