So what the fu** did he think he was going to achieve? Really.
Put out the odd fire, maybe.

It was a war zone. And the conservatives didn’t start the war.

It seems as though your position is that the victims of the rioters should simply have surrendered and taken it.

You mean people got upset that he killed a couple of people?

29 people died in the BLM riots last year. Why do only these two upset you?

If the Capitol or Charleston protestors were destroying property and bashing people at will night after night and law enforcement weren’t defending that property or those people then yes, I’d say the Antifa member was justified.

Ok, so in the case of the Capital hill protest where that literally happened, and they forced entry to the complex, you think ANTIFA were well within their rights to arm themselves and head down there to shoot the people in the Capital building?

That's your view is it?

In that circumstance, yes.
Why?

The skateboarder was not related to the first victim. He witnessed the shooting and intervened, he likely believed that Rittenhouse was an active shooter as has been testified to by others in the area.

Why is the skateboarder not entitled to self-defence?

I can assure you you wouldnt.

You strike me as one of those blokes that thinks he knows the law better than the lawyers and the judge.

It never ends well for them.

I'm one of those people smart enough to not find myself in front of a judge.

So just so we're clear here, you would support an ANTIFA member heading down (armed) to the Capitol hill riots, or at Charlestons 'Unite the Right' rally, and shooting those right wing protestors there under the same circumstances as this bloke here did to the blokes he shot?

Just want to make sure you're consistent here.

You'd be on the side of the ANTIFA member in that case?

Ive answered but now your turn for a hypothetical.

The Proud Boys had been terrorizing a city for days and destroyed millions of dollars of property and at the request of the republican mayor the police had stood down and let it happen. Some private citizens decide enough is enough and they arent going to take it any more in their community and come together to protect local businesses. One of the citizens spots a crazy RWNJ starting a fire and goes to put it out only to be jumped by a mob of 30 proud boys who chase after him firing shots into the night and try and steal his weapon. He turns around and shoots as the proud boy is lunging for him.

Do you want the citizen charged with murder?

But should the killing of the skateboard wielder be lawful by the shooter?

Yes or No?

I'm pretty confident myself that it will be deemed legal. He may have thought he was genuinely saving lives, but the reality was he didn't need to do what he did. He either misread the situation or decided to go in for the square up.

He wasn’t a victim of rioters. He went there with a gun. Like an idiot. Now people are dead at his hand.

Success all around yeah?

So did the rioters

Why is the skateboarder not entitled to self-defence?

Because he chased Kyle and attacked him while on the ground. Kyle was zero threat to him until he chose to attack

Henceforth known as "the victim".

Those who decry the "culture wars" are fully exposing themselves tonight.

"Of course there shouldn't be culture wars, you lot should just accept the burning of your property and the assault and murder of your family and friends"
