But there is a core of Americans who are deathly afraid of black people. Therefore if a white boy shot a black man, the black man must have had it coming. Rittenhouse is everyone’s little boy who can do no wrong.

If the black man had some sort of criminal record? Doubly so.

No debate there Chief.

Look, I lived in NY for 4 years and have also travelled to the US often. The underlying fear a lot of people have, thinking they need to carry 'arms' in a modern society, is just sad.
I watched a women pull a gun on a Walmart staff member one afternoon because she wasn't happy some product wasn't on sale that week..! Just as surprising was the amount of shoppers that basically ignored the incident. "Put the piece away crazy girl" was one shoppers casual flippant comment as she continued to select items off the shelves nearby!...

I drove around Pennsylvania, rarely by myself and was always worried about get pulled over by the police for anything and then misunderstanding directions or their expectation of where my hands should be etc...

Do you think if he was Khalil rather than Kyle coverage of this case would be the same?
I'm sure all Kyle's supporters here would be equally supportive of Khalil.

But somehow pointing out that a story isn't about race, makes you a racist.

Him attending an event to support those opposed to racial justice making their approval of racist police actions known and then aligning with the white nationalist proud boys had nothing to do with race.

Is that what you’re rolling with?

No I'm going with a young dumb kid, who shouldn't have been armed, going to protect his community against destruction because the police were stood down and weren't doing their jobs.

When law and order fails something will always fill the void and usually results in people taking the law into their own hands.

I see it as a law and order and gun issue.

Kyle's "community" was Antioch, Illinois.

If you are going to invent a reason to deflect from this bloke's actions, at least try and use facts.

In what circumstance is a racist armed militia suitable for anything.

He lived closer to the scene than anyone he shot and the area he was in was where his Dad worked.

I'm not deflecting from this kids action. I don't support him or his actions.

I'm just questioning why race is become the dominant factor.

If Khalil had been filmed running away and being chased down, then of course.

What point are you trying to make? That everyone you don't agree with is racist?

Have you not come across sherb's postings before?

I disagree with people on all sorts of things, that doesn't mean I think they are a racist.

That doesn't make it "his community".

That doesn't make it "his community".

People have many communities whether it be local, religious, work, sporting etc.

If he frequented it cos his Dad worked there I'm sure you could say it is one of his communities.

Then what's Khalil got to do with it?
It was a hypothetical raised by another poster.

Read the thread a bit better.

Even when the kid shot people in cold blood, I knew it was the fault of dreaded leftists!!!!!
Im not sure you know what 'in cold blood' means. Your use of the term here is like saying a fighter has 'coward punched' or 'king hit' his opponent during a boxing match.
