Two were attacking him so they were trying pretty hard. One following unsure what to do and hesitated. Has been done to death. Shit set of circumstances that should never have happened.

They did indeed turn out to be shitstains (well one of them definitely) who made some rather astounding decisions in the heat of the moment. Still, better policing, gun laws and less glorification of 'rioting' would certainly have seen a much better outcome. Unnecessary bullshit all round.

Once Rittenhouse fired his weapon, others would have been validated in killing him in self defense. They should have. Rittenhouse went armed looking for a fight, without the skills and 2 people are dead as a result.

He'll get eaten up by the racist political machine. When the circus is over, he'll be sleeping with one eye open.

Not necessarily. It would make a very interesting case, tho. I'm pretty sure Huber and the guy with the handgun thought they were dealing with an active shooter situation at the time. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt on that. They hadn't seen the original incident and most likely weren't aware Rittenshouse was running towards the cops.

Rittenhouse has certainly been swallowed up by the bullshit post shooting. He was probs headed in that direction anyway privately, but he has his five minutes of fame now.
