The edits sound exactly the same as SOF: Payback. I played SOF: Payback. They took away all traces of blood and decapitation and did a bad job of it too. The bodies basically turned to rocks once they hit the ground.

Now, SOF: Payback was a bad game to begin with, it's only redeeming factor for US players was the immense blood and gore , which the Australian version was devoid of.

However, I think that if L4D2 is crippled in the same way, it just won't be the same. I will not be able to bear playing L4D with the bodies acting as nothing more than walking rocks.

The inconsistency of this whole classification system is complexing to say the least. Does it indicate reluctancy?

I played the watered down version. The blood is still there. The decapitation is not.

EA have another meeting with the OFLC on the 22nd of October and are trying to get the origianl re classified ala FEAR 2

So I just played the demo, and while the game itself is pretty awesome, I am AMAZED at how watered down they've had to make it. It's ridiculous. Even stuff remotely violent from the first game has been removed...Michael Atkinson, you are a twat.

Yep. I wouldnt recomend it to anyone unless they can get an uncensored version. They've even had the cut zombies which are dressed as police because our government dont want players shooting at people of authority. What a joke.
