How is this not a bigger talking point. Labours policies are becoming scary right now and incredibly unjust.

Subsidising wages of jobs they think are womens jobs. Wtf? People realise the increases the burden on tax payers right?

Having a temporary defecit for high income earners even though the only reason a deficit will exist under labour is because of buying votes with cash hand outs ( liberals are doing the same defecit wise but arent pretending the deficit is an emergency rather then the reality of it now existing to buy votes).

Giving away 100 percent free child care to low income earners whilst high income earners with 3 kids of child care age pay around 90-115 thousand dollars for the same service. Whats the point of even earning a high income if you end up with less after income tax and loss of public funded services. May as well have your wife quit and become a babysitter even if she is a qualified doctor or lawyer.

I dont mind their housing policies except they dont apply to all the investors who were unjustly enriched by them. They continue to prop up the baby boomers just as much as the liberals.

I desperately wanted to vote for Labour this election given how much I despise the Liberals play with the alt right. But the rise of socialism and unjust reward is even worse then the populist nationalists scared of immigrants.
What a load of codswallup, Labor has been drifting to the right for years, they just passed tax cuts to the super rich, they have a pro-coal Queenalander as deputy leader. Your post is more right wing propaganda that makes no sense.

Australia had three of the top ten most livable cities in the world last year.

Life is really good here, Australia offers a life the overwhelming majority of human kind ever dreams of. Drawing comparisons to other elite nations is risking not seeing the forest for the trees.
Its interesting that many of the parameters they use to define 'liveable' are directly influenced by 'socialist' policy making and labour organisation.

Your understanding of currency as a commodity is very limited. For you every unit of currency = a unit of labour, totally off. Approximately 10% of the 'value' of a currency in modern capitalist economies is generated through real labour, the other 90% through speculation. So when you libertarians go on about the money you made through your actual labour being stolen from you through taxation, you can do a little mental check in your head and say to yourself its ok I kept the 10% that I earnt through my actual labour.

100% of the pay you get from your employer is a trade for your labour. It's a direct trade of work for currency at the mutually agreed rate your work is worth. Usually measured in time.

I see you are still wading into discussions you don't understand and being wilfully and proudly wrong.

A person doing your exact labour in another country is not getting your exact pay, there is an intrinct base line value to your labour which is approximately 10% of the value of the currency you receive (in most developed western capitolist economies) the other 90% of the value of that currency has absolutely no link to your labour, that 90% is provided to you by the speculative economic 'value' associated with your country. I know as libertarians you like to feel like you are incredibly valuable, your own identity and value sort of hovering above the 'big other', but never forget that 90% of what you have paid in your entire life you have the State and every other member of your community to thank for in a capitalist economy. Everyone with an ounce of self reflection would not mind putting some of that currency back in to keep our state and its people valuable.

Why should two different economies (markets) pay someone exactly the same in each? What kind of communist idea is that?
