Yes kept coming up with no results. I just wanting to confirm that I did in fact win a tipping comp a few years ago as I have a badge and had no idea

Pretty gutsy move by Neale doing a press conference.

At the end of the day he's done nothing illegal. He's not broken any laws.
This is just about sensitive moralities. He doesn't owe the public anything.
It's clearly a PR move to protect endorsements.
But gutsy nonetheless.

I think he handled it well. The club made sure he was in his own and no branding.

It doesn't make the media go away but does give a small amount of closure.

Lachie is a good bloke. He'll learn from his mistakes. He seems genuinely and visibly upset by his actions. Not only did he let his friends and family down. He let down himself his team and his manager.

He is a good bloke but he won't learn. He has done it multiple times in the past and I can almiat guarantee you he will keep doing it in other relationships.

Still, maybe Jules wasn't right for him so it may all play out for the best.

We’ve all been there, right?

Getting into bed with a girl we’ve just met and the little voice says ‘it’s all good, I’m clean, she says she’s clean, she doesn’t mind, just don’t wear one’.

Then 3 minutes later the little voice comes again - ‘just do it, she’ll be right, you can get the morning after pill, I’m sure she’ll be down’.

We put ourselves in this situation because sex gets boring, but the fear makes it good.

Lachie would have been the same with the hookers in Vegas. He was pushing boundaries. He was doing something he shouldn’t. Then came the worst thing that could have possibly happened - Jules let him off the hook. If rooting hookers in Vegas could now be done guilt free, what’s next? Where does the fear come from now?

So he starts rooting her best mate. And it’s all under wraps for a bit. No one knows. Suddenly it becomes normal, the fear is gone, and that voice inside his head comes back - ‘just do it, I’m sure she’ll get the morning after pill, she’s married too, what’s the worst that could happen?’…
Damn, thought this was press conference transcript…

Would be a bit odd for Lions officials to be there over a personal issue, I would have thought.

And others have held pressers without club officials present. Rankine for example.

Wasn’t entirely personal, he was relinquishing co-captaincy. Refused to answer personal questions, so was pretty much a football oriented presser.

Fev comes to mind…

Every second AFL player would be doing the same. And don’t leave out the coaches.

Yes, but most players don't hold a press conference when they're simply stepping down as captain.

We all know why there was a press conference. It was to confirm the rumours of their separation, apologise for his part in it & him asking for privacy.
