Yep, almost the worst outcome possible for a hammy.
Are people completely unaware that given he already injured the hamstring only a few weeks ago, even if it was a Grade I tear he was always going to be missing longer than the standard three weeks?

This always happens when it's a reoccurrence of a hammy injury. People here have been following footy for years right?

Maybe people were hoping for the best? Probably not the time for ‘I told you so.’

There's zero "I told you so." Literally the best outcome for a second hamstring injury in as many months for Shoota is 5-6 weeks.

I'm referring to people thinking that 5-6 weeks represents the severity of the injury as opposed to just representing the recurrence of the injury.

Thanks Doc.
Anyone that has had to do physical therapy for similar injuries, or paid attention to the years of injury reports the club has put out, can tell you that when there's a reoccurrence of an injury the treatment is to be conservative. Don't get shitty just because I'm telling you that this isn't Shoota's first hamstring this year.

So true, once you have done your hammy twice in a season, you are going to have a long stint on the sidelines.

No point playing him while it is cold in night games either because it will just go again.

May as well keep him on "ice" till late August.

Glad you're having fun, no doubt sucking down another six pack while doing so. Would appreciate you putting aside your bizarre personal issues with me and realise that someone saying five weeks for a second minor hammy is actually minor after all isn't the big meany thing you think it is.

In all honesty, your post was about right but you did yourself an injustice by adding the last line. I'm not having a go but you left yourself open by your last sentence

I hope the one good thing that can come out of Lachie's time off is that Will Hayes will get to fill in for all those weeks.
I’d be going with Oleg. Brings great energy and spirit to the team.

Maybe Hayes gets an extended run? He showed in the North game that he has those pressure traits that Shoota has. Maybe he can benefit from the block like Allan has
Wouldn't be surprised if he did. I reckon he's got lots more talent to show us
