If he wasnt a #1 pick he wouldnt be worth much. He is getting over taken by other talent within GWS at a great rate. Aish was worth a 2nd round after 2 years and a year after featuring high in the rising star followed by an injury interrupted 2nd season.
The nature of trades unfortunately is that unless you are pushing elite you are worth not much on the table (boyd likes the exception). Doesnt mean it is right but it is just how it is.
Poaching players is a great why to get elite young talent on the cheap
What's wrong with a second rounder?? Maybe a third as well if GWS were going to bitch about it
So committed that he hasn't signed a new deal yet that no doubt would have been offered to him by nowSorry to be the one to break it, but Lachie is going nowhere, spent a lot of time at Tom Wills and it would be hard to find a guy more committed to the Giants
We have 15 guys coming off contract this year, I doubt the pressure is on Lachie to sign in March tbhSo committed that he hasn't signed a new deal yet that no doubt would have been offered to him by now

this screams of private school mummys boy wanting to go home to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
If Ward and Whitfield leave, not to mention the uncertain future of Patton and mccarthy, GWS are back to square one.
Worrying time with their director having a blue with Matthews and leaving, and pulling out 1 million of funding
