Thought we were getting Lachie Neale for a second. I suppose this is still good.

Does he go onto the main list at North, or does he stay on the rookie list ?
The main list as he becomes a FA.

However under AFL rules if a player is offered a third year on the rookie list he can reject it and automatically become a free agent and move to his club of choice.

So he gets what he wants (main list, opportunity) and we get what we want (depth, no loss of picks). Win win. Astute work from BR

Pykie I'd appreciate your thoughts on Young if you get the chance. What were your thoughts in his draft year?

A raw version of his brother.

6"3, very athletic, good overhead, with good skills.

Doesn't accumulate it anywhere near as much as Hayden did at Nab League level which is why he never went higher and was overlooked at 18.

I haven't seen how he has developed at the Dogs since, obviously well enough to push off the rookie list for senior games.

We are crying out for some decent HBF's though. Might make a decent partner for Perez.

Apparently Bevo wouldn’t play him at HBF at senior level (they do have a lot of depth there). Played on a wing and FP.

Could we do those with Mihocek?

Poster on the Dogs board thinks another is coming too. Curious to see who that turns out to be (if true).

Love the new trade/draft direction.
They got a few good youngsters not getting enough game time like Lipinski or Lewis young both would be handy

This kid has had a lot of injury issues, but he has some serious X factor.

Where does it say this?

Under the little-known AFL rule, if a player is offered a third year on the rookie list he can reject it and automatically become a free agent and move to his club of choice.

However the Dogs say they did offer Young a position on the primary list and that they will force a trade with North Melbourne. He informed the Bulldogs on Monday of his decision.
