A great start to the season, with all boys contributing. Our defenders did well to restrict Geelong to 8 goals, with Meehan, Matheson and Ross prominent. Our on ballers fed the forwards, with Hunter kicking five goals and Dolan 4. Best Players: N Meehan, C Matheson, L Ritchie, L Hunter, R De Biase, B Kanakis Goals: L Hunter 5, M Dolan 4, B Kanakis, J Tighe, J Dimattina 2 each, L Ritchie, A Scott, T Quinlan, M Roberts, G Favalor

Any chance we could take this kid?

gooby pls.

Having completed our round 6 TAC cup fixture, I was having a conversation with our Manager, and discovered we have another father son developing in our U15s TAC Cup. The player I am talking about is only 14 currently.

He is the son of 'Superboot' McPherson. Before you get excited, he is only 159cm, has 'ok' skills but is lightening quick, which he would need to be unless he grows in height.

Apart from Lachlan Hunter from Western Jets this year, we also have Luke Kennedy (not sure where he is), and Jayden Foster (Oakleigh Chargers) for next year. Unfortunately, unlike most of our upcoming father son prospects (and many draft hopefuls), I do not know anything about these two.

Thanks for that,

Cant find Jayden Foster in the chargers player listing though?

I'm not 100% sure where Jayden Foster is. I am going on my connections and the fact I am involved with the TAC Cup, though I have not seen him on any list.

I do not know anything about Foster nor Kennedy, though a few others around the Club are aware of Foster

The Club would be keeping tabs on all of them. Anyone heard how Ace's little bro is going -I think his name is Zane?

Can't tell you.

Seems he is playing U16s for the Geelong Falcons and also Geelong College. Unless he makes the seniors TAC Cup side before we play them down in Geelong, I won't see him anytime soon.

Seems he is also a handy tennis player.

Josh Wallis (Calder Cannons) is apparently playing well and is a nice prospect. Again, I have not seen him, and won't until finals time (if he made the senior side).

This would be fantastic. I loved 'Super' MacPherson in the 80's! His nickname was Super mate by the way, Superboot was Bernie Quinlan! I hope his son can play anything like the way Super used to burst through packs, he was a real Joel Selwood type! The fact that his son is short atm, he's only 14 so he'd have a lot of growing to do. I guess it depends on how much he does grow and whether he keeps getting better over the next 3 years! Good luck Super Junior! :D

No mention of his name this time round, was he rested/injured?

Our focus was on discipline this week and in the second quarter it was the key to SKC taking over the game. The boys worked well for one another and committed their bodies to great effect. The defence was rock solid all day. Goals: Michael Dolan 4, Angus Scott 2, Callum Matheson, Pele Manivong, Shaun Kennedy, Lachlan Ritchie 1 each. Best Players: Angus Scott, Callum Matheson, Touk Miller, Michael Dolan, Jack Holden, Matthew Roberts

Nah, he's just not a very good player so I guess he'll never make it, rookie pick at most. Time to move on, sorry guys, nothing to see here.

Personally I'm following Dolan's career with great interest. Kicked another bag on the weekend.

I watched him play a game of school footy last weekend, first time I've seen him. He moves around very well and looked by far to be the most 'natural' footballer on the ground. Played midfield and forward, he got quite a lot of it and was clean with his disposal. Kicked 2 from set shots about 45-50 out, both good kicks, and took a hanger out of a pack in the goal square. He had a few other leaps too, so it seems he enjoys taking a big grab. Overall I was impressed, probably the only knock on him is his size, but he has a bag of tricks which he can work with. I wouldnt have a clue where he would rate in the draft though in terms of first or second rounder or later.

Hi All,

New registered bulldog fan here, i thought i'd say hi to all as i've just come across this site\forum. I'm from brissy and unfortunately there arent many bulldogs fans up here to chat with, and this site is a great way to interact.

I'm not sure if i've posted in the right area\forum or not but i look forward to chatting with you all into the future!

P.s for what its worth i think Hunter would be a great addition even though we need those silky outside mids!

Cheers!
