Seriously, trying to rank how our 4 rooks will end up is very very difficult. I'm a massive stringer fan and I'd have him last.....weird.

Macrae could win a brownlow. He is such a special, unique talent. His vision and feel for the game are off the charts.

Hunter at number 2 for me. Similar vision to macrae, but arguably more athletic and a better ball user. What a package.

Hrovat. Again, just sees the game so well. Thank god our recruitment team have worked this out. Pick kids with vision, feel for the game, skills and toughness.

Stringer. Could easily end up the best of the bunch. Again, he is pretty unique as a talent. I felt he was playing more handicapped this year than the others with us physical limitations, but projects as an absolute beast.

Bottom line for mine is that we have 4, absolute top liners in the making here lads. Incredible draft.

*not discounting prudden, but obviously we haven't seen him yet.

Really happy about Hunter and his development so far. I honestly didn't think he would play a game this year. Doesn't seem overly quick but knows when to evade and dance around a tackler. Would like to see more of him crumbing at the feet of Campbell/Jones in the coming seasons. Seems the logic replacement for Gia.

Its just so refreshing that after so many years of our recruiting staff having a propensity for over reaching and drafting athletes masquerading as footballers the pendulum has swung back the other way and all of our recent recruits look like natural footballers. Long may it remain so.

There's little doubt what category Hunter fits in.

It will be interesting to see where we play Stringer in the future. Could become a beast of a midfielder if developed properly. Has raw strength and is a good user of the ball.

Funny thing is the one game I saw of Prudden I walked away thinking he was the best of the 3 out of Hrovat and Hunter that day for Willy. Only one game though yet really like his work, skinny but goes in there. Only 1 game I saw though. Recruiting is so important and we haven't been great the last 5 years yet we seemed to have done great last year. Early days yet.

Only seen video of Prudden at VFL level - it was a Hrovat and Prudden highlights package and I could barely tell them apart. Yes, Prudden's ball use was up with Hrovat's.

He is a virtual draftee given his injury issues and seems a really, really solid pick.

Ridiculous coming from the second youngest player on an AFL list! Just everything about him, I honestly can't name one weakness, he will be such a gun for so many years, dat hanger then land on feet then kick was amazing, and the kick to Wally!

I honestly cant believe how good our off season was last year, just absolutely crazy. Macrae, Hunter, Stringer, Hrovat, Prudden, Stevens, Young. Only one who hasn't already convinced us they will be apart of the team for the next 10 years is Prudden and thats through no fault of his own.

Im looking fwd to seeing a right foot.
A few times on the weekend he was forced to back track to get back on the left and was caught.

From what I've seen he has that 'X' factor that we have been lacking. He looks to have that ability pull something out of nowhere, as well as great vision to read the play in advance, a bit like Pendlebury. He has great evasive skills, and that grab on the weekend just emphasised the 'X' factor. I think he will have a great highlights package by the time his career is over.

Honestly I'm still a lot more excited by Macrae and Stringer, but that's not a blight on Hrovat, Hunter though because they all look like 200 gamers.

Hunter reminds me a bit of Cyril. Has that X factor, can influence without a lot of possessions, can have a run in the midfield or as a small forward.

I'm the most excited about him, and once he gets some more preseasons into him and can run out a game better, look out!
