If Melbourne beat St Kilda, Richmond beat Sydney, Adelaide beat Gold Coast, Bulldogs beat Carlton, Freo beat GWS and Hawthorn beat Geelong - all very possible results - the ladder will have 13 teams all equal together on top with 12 premiership points. Unprecedented evenness?

I doubt that, but still, 11 teams on 12 points after round 5 would probably be a first

Given this ongoing insanity, we now need to seriously consider the previously ridiculous prospect of the Suns being outright top of the ladder after Round 5.
A top four featuring Gold Coast, St Kilda, Fremantle and Geelong (why did you have to ruin this?) is very possible...

Didn't need a new thread but Geelong lose tomorrow to the Eagles and we'll have the top nine teams all even 4 wins. Hopefully lots of big games coming up in the next few weeks.
