I forgot to stop and did 7 rounds. But I also have Norf in the top 8 so far. They have very winnable start to the season.
GCS should also be up there.
I think the Hawks will struggle.

Way too much credit for Sleepy here. I get that their draw is easy, but I trust them to find a way to lose.
My thinking is reverse hot hand fallacy. How long can you be this shit. Surely this year is different!

Narrator: 2026 would not be different
Their list still stinks. The comparison with the 2019 lions is very funny, because we added Neale, McCarthy, Marcus Adams and a full season of Charlie Cameron to our 2018 lineup.
I've turned trade priod off in my brain but I don't think norf brought in any good mature talent to speed up their list build.
They look weird. One of the first ones I looked at was Richmond that have 5 key backs named in their best 23Pulled these off the AFL twitter account.
I believe North play West Coast twice in WA. Once at Optus stadium, and once in Joondalup (or where ever the country game is, that North sold to WA).View attachment 2526602
I'm on the early season North wagon as well. And think Sydney will have a big year out of the gate. Hopefully they fall apart by finals time
I agree; I tipped the Eagles in the WCE-NM game. I still think (in the absence of further evidence) that they can and should beat Essendon, Carlton and Richmond.I believe North play West Coast twice in WA. I’m not counting either as a walk up win for North.
I guess I’m in the camp that North have to prove to me that they can win, before I tip them.I agree; I tipped the Eagles in the WCE-NM game. I still think (in the absence of further evidence) that they can and should beat Essendon, Carlton and Richmond.

Darling and Toby pink will come good this year
Begs the question who has been the shitter team North or West Coast.
I think West Coasts shitness has been deeper & more impressive, which is kinda strange for a club that is so damn rich, but North's pretty much started the year they intentionally torched their list (if my shaky memory is correct), culling Boomer Harvey (even though he was still in their top two or three best players), Nick Del Santo, Drew Petrie, Michael Firrito really put a dagger through the heart of the club.
I remember I was a little pissed off, I can only imagine what their supporters felt.

Starch is a distance memoryTo assess this I always employ the scientific method of how many players from each side can I name.
Sadly I can probably name about a dozen or more NORF players.
I can name about 4 WCE players. Reid, Yeo, Waterman and McGovern.

Yeah but most of my list of Norf players are ones I think are truly terrible. Like I know who Finn O'Sullivan because he stinks!
Caleb Daniel, Darling, Luke McDonald - all stink!

Salary caps, drafts, free agency and still you have half a dozen clubs starting the season with absolutely no hope of achieving anything. What a dog turd of a league.
