Round 2 will be pretty much as expected with the favorites taking the choccys
the Thursday night blockbuster wont disapoint with the pies just scraping over the line in the dying minutes
the Crows will push their claim as the team on the charge by disassembling the swans at the SCG
The bombers will continue to be the media darlings as the fairytail team beating us but not before we give them a fair scare..
Port easily
WCE unfurling their flag easily
North at the dome easily
Geelong with the home ground advantage will account for the Dee's and give them some reality
Hawks and dogs flip a coin but ill go with the dogs based on the Bont
and the Dockers simply cannot drop a game against the gold coast even in QLD

Tigers
Swans
Saints (just reckon with injuries to merrett and hooker they might be weakened early and vulnerable, though they will rightly start strong favourites)
Port
Demons
Eagles
Lions
Dogs
Freo

Well, the Saints unbeaten run of one has come to a grinding halt in a very tight matchup, but not even the optimism of mightymalaka could pull us over the line, with the majority tipsters favoring the Bombers by 10-7.

In other matches Port Adelaide was voted 17-0 to mash the hapless Blues, much to the delight of Crows fans. Next best performed was the Eagles at 15-2 against the Giants, then closely followed by the Tigers and North who both enjoyed 14-3 wins against the Pies and Giants. The Dockers belted the Suns 13-4 and the Hawks won out over the Dogs by 11-6.

In a hotly contested game the Crows edged out the Swans 10-7 away from home, while in the match of the round the Cats pipped the Demons 9-8 at the siren.

So the Saints slip to 6th place and only four teams remain undefeated. Hawthorn, Collingwood and the Dogs are languishing in the bottom eight and Fremantle fans are up and about on the main board!

So on to Round 3's fixtures! The Saints will be looking to duplicate last years heroics against the Dockers at Optus Stadium, last years grand finalists face off, and the Giants host the Tigers after limping back from Perth. The Cats also have the mighty task of taking on the Crows at Adelaide Oval on a 5 day turn around.

Crows vs Cats - the alarm bells will be out Geelong will be thumped and thumped hard in this game with the media asking if the era of success for geelong being over

Demons vs Bombers - The Dee's learnt a lesson last week so the bounce back strongly and hold off a plucky Essendon

Blues vs Swans - in the dead game of the round Sydney will do just enough to get the much needed win , it wont be pretty but they will take it

Giants vs Tigers - Tiger tails will be up as the sit on top but the Giants after getting a whack from WCE the week before will come back hard and take the game from the tigers in a highly entertaining game

Lions vs Power - Lions open their account with a chrushing win over the Power mounting huge pressure on Hinkley and his team

Pies vs Eagles - the grand final rematch the pies need to win this to clear the lingering demons of the grand final choke

Dogs vs Suns - it wont be convincing , it wont be pretty but with Bont in everything the dogs will cruise over the line against the suns

Hawks vs North - hawks will stumble again with north pinching the game late after hawthorn holding on to a small lead all game

Dockers vs Saints - Saints will stick it right up them and be every chance to steal the win but some home town decisions will fall Freo's way and they will win by 2 goals ... Saints to not get a free kick in the entire last qtr
