I have the dogs scrapping into September in 7th somehow a good draw come September. I have us to play Richmond who have spent all week talking premierships cos they made the 8, given there last two seasons we cruise past nice and fresh. 2nd week there was a down pour in Perth and the Hawks are bruised and battered we just got past them. 3rd week just had a bit of déjà vu to round 5 it was wet and soggy buddy and tippet couldn't get a look in with the pressure. Then come up against Freo and Ross the boss does what he does best chokes in the grand final

12 wins won't be enough to make finals given our %.
We'll need to win big and lose narrowly if we do indeed get to 12 wins.

We need to not only win the next 4 weeks but pile drive brisbane saints Carlton and gcs into oblivion.

4 x 60 point wins and our % is back on track.

I just did a really negative ladder predictor with us losing to:
North Melbourne
West Coast
Port Adelaide
Essendon
Collingwood
Geelong

We pretty much have to win 2-3 of these to get into the top 8.
With us tiering out it could really go that negative way... but perhaps if we get a bit of luck we can get on a run and win a few of these 50/50s. Not saying that Essendon are as good as us but when you look at how young our team is... we are likely to bring ourselves down to the level of other teams due to us just not being able to stick at it as the season progresses.

I hope I am and wrong but we need to factor this into our expectations of where we will finish.
Yes at our best we are damn good and can match it with most the competition out our best.. but history says young teams seem to tire out.

Lets hope we are the outlier!

I think we're probably going to end up missing finals, as is the nature of our inconsistency.

Would be amazing if we could make it, but i'm not expecting it.
Never know though. A few results going our way here and there and anything could happen.

If we can't beat half of those sides, then we don't deserve to make it. Pretty simple.

Yeah. I agree. But I feel that's our finals chances in a nutshell and speaking more from a hopeful fan who wants to see their team play finals again! The excitement of 08/09 doesn't feel that long ago.

I had us winning the next 3, beating Collingwood, Essendon, Melbourne & Brisbane but losing to North, Port, West Coast and Geelong.
Also changed the Collingwood game to a loss which left us in a percentage battle with Port and Richmond for 8th. I think we are in a good position.
