that first week of finals would be amazing. one question though, doesnt the afl have a contract that if theres 2 games in melbourne first week, one has to be at telstra dome? that would be a problem, either coll'wood eagles game or cats-hawks at dome. both of these would draw around 80k youd think.

Isn't the G owed some finals games given all the interstate finals over the last few years?

compared to a ladder i posted a month ago the top 4 is in a different order, essendon out port in and 5-8th in a different order.

i had geelong lose to freo over there (only game on paper geelong look like losing but depending on the next couple of weeks that could change). i have us losing to wc, geelong and hawks but i reakon right now we are better chances to win against the hawks and wc then a few weeks ago

sir adrian has us to play dogs in first week of the finals after we play them in round 22, when was the last time that happened? i can think of essendon v richmond in 01

sir adrian has us to play dogs in first week of the finals after we play them in round 22, when was the last time that happened? i can think of essendon v richmond in 01

dons played richmond on 2 straight friday nights in 2001

tigers won the first, dons the second

I can also remember that Hawthorn played Geelong in 2 successive matches in 1989/90 (1989 Grand Final and Round 1, 1990) as did the Eagles vs Swans this season. However if these were both deliberately set up (as the 2007 one was) then the dons vs richmond one would be the last time it happened).

*Those finals predictions probably do not represent my predictions for the rest of the rounds. I thought the Finals Factor would influence a few teams differently. Really though, all those finals could go many ways, and there'd be some cracking games there. Can't wait!

Oh, and it's just my opinion, not meant to stir up any trouble...

Coll vs. Hawks (way to close to call. collingwood have gone longer without though)

Bias towards Port after Saturday (made them go out in straight sets), against Bombers because of their injuries and i don't know why the Swans aren't in there. Geelong are very unlucky, just have hunch towards the Pies in the finals.

More importantly, however, Carlton don't get the priority pick, Tigers get Kreuzer (damnit) and Dees get Cotchin.

Curious. Tiges have to win 2 more and get another draw to overtake Carlton.

Where do you think they may come from?

Home v Port - 40-60 IMO
Away v Sydney 10-90
Away v Geelong 5-95
Home v Collingwood 30-70
Away v West Coast 10-90
Away v Essendon 40-60
Home v St Kilda 30-70

They are up against it. Not impossible but a tough task nonetheless.

Dogs won't finish above Hawthorn...ditto Adelaide.

If the Hawk beat either the Saints or Kangaroos they are certainties to finish top 4.
