From what I can see this is how I rate our draw.
2 completely unwinable games: St Kilda and Western Bulldogs
5 unsure games: Sydney, West Coast, Brisbane, Fremantle and Hawthorn
1 easy win: Richmond
I can see us winning all of those 5 unsure games, but we do need to win 4 and have a good percentage.
This just shows how important this game is against Sydney. If we don't win, I can't see us beating West Coast, Brisbane, Fremantle and Hawthorn, but if we do win, we can afford to lose 1 of those games and still make finals.
In reality I think we will lose 1 of West Coast and Brisbane, but I think that should be enough to make finals (hopefully).
Anyway, this has been a great year for the club and even if we don't make finals we have done a lot better than I expected and I think we have a great side for the future.

5 of Brisbane's 8 wins have been at The Gabba.
Their 3 wins elsewhere have been against struggling sides such as Richmond in Round 7, North Melbourne in Round 10 & the Hawks (who had a ton of injuries, including Rioli) in Round 12.
To tell you the truth, I have a feeling that we can redeem ourselves in Melbourne. Crucial game, but if we're fit, it'll be over before it even starts. They haven't shown enough outside The Gabba to convince me otherwise. I think they've been hugely overrated by the media.

Yes it is possible that Essendon can finish on top gaining the minor premiership with both Collingwood and Carlton missing out on making the finals with Carlton finishing on the bottom.
With Adelaide placing fourth it will mean that we will play the Crows first week of finals at the MCG, a place where Crows are less dominant and not used to as much. After thrashing the Crows, we will play Brisbane after they upset the Saints in the Semi. We will defeat the Lions easily to cement our spot in the GF. We will play against Adelaide in the GF who upset Geelong in the Prelim, then the Grand Final will be Deja Vu of earlier in the finals series.
